While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 812 and 813
Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).
sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.
Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.
Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.
We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

My son from 813 also called tonight, and we only had about 15 minutes. He said he had 45, but he got pulled off the phone after only 15 minutes and had to go. He sounded really good, although pretty sick. He also said it was likely his only call until he calls to say he is graduating.

Does anyone know what rules they have about what they can take with them to A school. I know some Mom's got watches and some tablets. Are they able to bring these with them on the plane?

I received a call today from my son in 813. It was about 6pm and it was very short maybe 10 mins. He sounded good and he is just getting over strep! Seems like everyone in 812 and 813 have been sick at one time or another. He said that his next call would be just before PIR, The good thing is...he feels like he is going to be ready and prepared for the next phase of his training and A school!

I can't find anything about what they can take either. My son goes to Pensacola for air rescue swimming, but I don't know what he can take when he leaves. I was going to give him small bag at the airport if I'm allowed, just before he leaves.

I thought I read somewhere...maybe on the Moms AIRR site, that they only wear Navy issued clothing fir the first phase. I think they can take a cell phone or laptop, but I need to confirm.
