Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 815 and 816
Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).
sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.
Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.
Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.
We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hello 815 and 816, sorry I am a little late joining in. I'll be checking in more frequently now that you have formed a group. My son had a Spec Ops contract in 2010. I have been here ever since. I have met the most wonderful and supportive ladies(and men) in the last three years. Hang in there, its a bit of a bumpy ride.

my son graduated boot camp may 2012 and stayed in GL until august then went to coronado, his friends in swcc left about 3 weeks after grad. It is a very bumpy ride moms so hang on and we are here if you need us.

so in other words we really don't know - love it - LOL - as long as he is happy and getting to train I guess I don't care how long it takes to go out to CA

yes I think so- he told me on the phone today he will stay there for propbably 8 weeks after PIR- he has talked to some of the guys who are doing that now and they say it is great, they get to train and eat and sleep pretty much

I just got a call from my son, sounds good, says the food is really good, has not really started training yet, thinks that happens tomorrow afternoon. They have been spending a lot of time making and unmaking beds, folding and cleaning their areas. Too funny. After 15 min, someone started yelling and he had to go, wish I could have had more time with him. But very happy to finally hear from him. He said he got my first letter yesterday. Hope everyone else hears too!!!

Anybody know anything about the hotels in the area? They always look good on their websites but can be just the opposite when you get there.
