Does anyone have an update on division progress?  No letter or phone call  from my SR in 2 weeks, so I'm assuming everything is alright, but I'm frustrated.

My husband got a letter today. Seems like all is well, they did not earn there Physical fitness flag because they needed three more to pass and they did not. My son is the Master at Arms. We are so proud and can't wait to see them!! With 20 days left it's going to be crazy busy for them. We should be hearing about battle stations soon. I can't wait. That is when we get that call that says, I am a sailor!! Can't wait I carry my phone with me everywhere now.

By the way welcome to the group!!

Pam

chadsmom - Does this mean that they have taken their final fitness test, the one that they for sure needed to pass?

Apparently the guys are making a 12 Days of bootcamp song for Christmas, though when the letter was written, they were only up to day 3.

Trey called today!  Apparently they have the 4 flags they need.  Yay! They got 2 yesterday so that's why they were allowed to call, Did anyone get that same info?

Yess... me, me me me!!!

Good morning Sukie, good morning ladies!

I too got a call from my daughter!! Whoo-hooo!! I was one happy momma!! At first I thought my son (who was the one who piced up the phone) was kidding me cause sometimes we get prank calls and I didn't want to pick it up... then I heard him say "Cole?!?!" then "Hey Cole!!!" I'm looking at him like BOY YOU BETTER NOT BE PLAYING WITH ME?!? but nooooo turns out that it was her!! Im yelling OMG-OMG CALL ME ON MY CELL!!!!! (so I can put her on speaker!) OMG it was sooo nice to hear her voice! We talked mostly about Christmas (I'm adopting her for christmas) and how she wants a bag of Flaming Hots ready for her in the car ;0)  I'm soo happy they're doing well that just puts my heart at ease! She says the worst is the lack of sleep poor baby! But despite that she sounded great! They're all such troppers though!! Bunch of great Great GREAT kids... cause they ALL have beautiful... Beautiful... BEAUUUTIFUUL MAMMAS!!!! YAY!! :) LA LA LA LA LA!! ME SINGING AND DANCING LIKE A NUT!

It's soo good to feel happy again! I was soo depressed for such a loong time that feeling happy is AAAWWSSOMMEE!! :)

Have a great week, Merry Christmas if I don't talk to you and of course...

GOD BLESS OUR FUTURE SAILORS!!!!!!!

Truer words were never spoken!  Isn't it amazing how 10 minutes an wipe out 6 weeks?

I had to delete a post due to it stating a last name. I apologize and you are more than welcome to re-post, but only change the way you state the SR's last name (initials, etc.) Thanks!

I know several of you have ordered ribbons from me to wear to PIR. All of those orders have now been shipped. Please let me know what you think of them when they arrive. I am sure you will love them :-D With the holidays here the shipping seems to be taking an extra day or two depending on how far you are from me but hopefully you will all have them by this Friday or Tuesday at the latest. The mail doesn't run on Monday so letters from your SR's will probably be delayed next week as well. If anyone else would like to order the ribbons to wear to PIR to support your Sailor just send me a friend request on this site or send me an email to uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com and I will send you all the ribbon info as well as some helpful tips for PIR. I hope you all have a great day.

Hi ddeecal, thanks so much for your interest in the ribbons. I make the ribbons for families to wear to PIR to support their Sailor. They are Navy Blue and come with gold or silver letters, have an anchor and stars on them, your recruits first or last name and their division. They make a great way to recognize other moms/families from the same division and they make a great keepsake. I make lots of other stuff as well that is Navy themed. To get more info you can send me a friend request and I will send it to you. You can also email me at uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com if you like. And, you can see some pics here on my page or on my facebook page Unique Memory Makers. Thanks so much for your interest.

The church our SR's went to is working on updating the site so we can see photos. They had 63 and said it was great. The site is recruitchristmas.weebly.com.

Check it out hopefully we will see some happy faces!!

See ya'll in 9 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pam

OMG Pam 9 days!!! That makes it sooo much more real! My daughter knows your son!! I showed her your profile pic...she knows him by his last name (which of course I'm not going to say) she's like "I think it's _______ but i'm not sure cause he has a lot of hair in this pic but it looks like him" I thought it was soo funny!! :) You're going to be soo surprised when you see him there are just no words!! What a sight to see... truly a sight to see!! :)

OMG Miriam,

I can't wait!! I mean can't wait to see him!! Yes I am sure she said the right name. So cool what is her job going to be again?? I am going to contact Sarge today to make arrangements for shuttle service. I am so excited!! I am coming in on Thursday morning maybe we can meet for lunch???
