Hi Ladies,

I just got a call!!!! It was wonderful.  I hope you all are getting them today too!!

Hello all!! WOO HOO I got my call!! He sounds great and is very happy. Two wisdom teeth came out, but he is doing fine. I hope you all get calls!!

My son had 2 teeth pulled not sure y. Dry socket but he's fine. He 18 and just grad. May 28th he wants more stamps and phone cards. The recruiter told us he wouldn't need stamps they where free up ther but I'm hearing different. Someone messed up so they had to do IT no one knows why tho...they don't know each other by ther 1st names.lol he has a friend Lundivist? Hope I spelled it right my son writes awlful. Lol have a great day.
I have heard the same thing.  My son says that some of them aren't pulling together like they should so they keep getting in trouble.  He was hoping that the phone calls home yesterday would help the ones that weren't doing what they were supposed to be doing and then helping the rest feel better.
My son had 2 teeth pulled also. They always take wisdom teeth out. I am hearing the same story from my son also. He said they were suppose to have an hour of phone time, but due to them not pulling together they recieved 30 min.  Send a book of stamps, they do have to buy them. A manilla envelope addressed back to you will also be needed. I am sending mine Monday, Josh said he needs to send some things home. I am also sending some newspaper clippings for him to read. They have no news. I told him his brothers ship pulled out of Norfolk due to the hurricane, he said "what hurricane".  Take care and to all of our East coast military and families, we will be praying for you!! God Bless, stay safe!!
Hello ladies, I booked my Hotel at the Ramada but been waiting on booking the airflight due to cancellation fees if something happens. I read that its best to fly into Milwaukee instead of chicago. Any one have some infor for me? anything will help. thank you have a great day!!
I just booked rooms too. Same Hotel. Can't wait to see everyone at the meet & greet. We are driving up from KC so really can't offer any advise on airfair. Sorry. Hope you can find something out and get those tickets taken care of.

Yes, I am so glad to see this discussion. My son is in this ship/div. He is 19 and graduated 2010. He is hopefully possibly going to be a nuke. I've gotten one letter and one call. I keep asking him about everything going on there and he just keeps telling me to stop worrying. When I read the other posts from the same PIR dates and they are getting a few calls and letters, I start to worry. My son dosen't talk alot so I'm hoping to find out everything I can here.
