If you see him, and shake his hand, give him a BIG hug for us too!  I won't be able to make it (as you know) and I have been writing letters about how supportive you have all been and the wonderful people i've met along the way.

I sure will give him a hug from you guys, I to have met many wonderful supportive women, my husband just doesn't understand how sharing with other mom's and wives makes this trip easier for me. Thanks for listening everyone!!!!

Hello Ladies!  I got a letter from my son last night and he says they are suppose to be given a phone call this evening.  Keep your fingers crossed we all hear from our recruits.

just hope that phone card works, I told him to try it before he left and I forgot to ask him if he did, Hope he knows then to call collect. No wonder I have high blood pressure!!! hoping for a letter today, his last letter was down, hoping for a better feel from him this time.

I hope we all get phone calls...Thanks

Hey Crystal are you still with us, haven't heard from you yet today, just checking in hope that little girl didn't decide she wanted to be born...hope all is well...Michelle

Oh yeah, i'm still here. I would say still kicking, but thats actually more of what Zoey would be saying.  ;)

I am just sitting here and making a tear-away by day calendar for the days until daddy gets home.  My mother is with me again, and I cut to part time last night.  I told the doctor i need to start taking it easy.  Um...what else??  No letter yesterday, so i'm sure today will be an amazing day. letters and a call (which i'm sure you guys have seen has been confirmed true by Joshmom too)

I can't wait to hear from him.  Oh how I miss him!!

got 2 letters my self and my son actually got one. The Navy sure has changed Kyle! they just came today. He sound better and is doing well. you said your husband is reserves to right? Kyle isn't clear on the holiday leave he is under the impression that it takes longer for reservist to make up time, I have that question into RTC now about the holiday leave will let you know, Glad your still here and have help, take care of yourself. Hoping for that phone call. He is suppose to have his wisdom teeth out this week, so don't know if I will get that phone call he does get 2 days bed rest, seems like a waste to me specially when they aren't bothering him, seems like he could wait till he gets home but what do I know. Enjoy your phone call and letters

Got my call!!! Unfortunately it charges 35 minutes to use a phone card from a payphone?!?!?!  So we were only able to talk 8 minutes :(

Got my phone call,i bought him a 500 min card maybe you could send him one, he said they will call again on Sat. only a short call though. He sounded very good made me feel alot better we covered alot of ground in 20 min. and now I'm thinking I forgot somethings, oh well, he sounds so grown up but has made some new friends. Crystal Kyle said he knew who your husband was. Now my day is complete. hope you all are enjoying your call and letters

I was able to give him a CC # and he got more minutes. I'm so emotional right now. My baby is sick with a cold and his knee hurts, but he's doing well.  Sounds like he doesn't want to come home for leave because as a reservist, he gets screwed on his time. Not what I wanted to hear, but I told him to think about seeing his newborn baby for just a few days. it would be worth it to me.  UGH.  Hormones!!

I got my call too, he actually was able to talk me, his dad and girlfriend.  Said he was going to get in trouble for taking son long..:(.  He sounded okay, like a man!  But he said he is okay and all is well.  Hope all is well for all your sons/daughters..
