Thanks for the remind.

Coloradomom thanks for the reminder,   we get so caught up and are so happy to talk to each other we forget.   Thank you

I thank you Colorado! We are just excited and I know I have written my SR with names
Just trying to put 2 & 2 together! Lisa

Today is a great day!!!  My SR has been gone for 29 days and I will see him in 28!!!  We are on the downslide to PIR!!!  Really hoping to get a letter today. I see that some of you all got mail yesterday but I think it takes an extra day to get all the way up to Maine!  Have a great day moms!

Yes it is! I get new wifi today! I'll get on our fb forum as soon as connect!
New quote from an SR....Everytime a recruit folds their towel wrong, God kills a kitten. If you don't like kittens, he kills a puppy. If you don't like puppies, then you don't have a soul and will NEVER be a Sailor in the Worlds Greatest Navy!

That is too funny.   I wrote my SR today and mailed it.   He said that the last time they got hit he had a towel and a T-shirt that were supposedly dirty.   He said he did not think they were dirty they were just folded wrong.

Oh I so needed to read this!  I just talked with my SR's girlfriend as she read me the long letter he sent her.  It was written before we got phone calls on Monday and in the letter he sounds so down! He said he can't do anything right and he is concerned he's bringing the whole division down.  Now I know my SR and he is something of a perfectionist (can't imagine where he gets that from!) so if he isn't doing something just right, he is unhappy with himself.  Of course he did ace his academics but he is stressing getting things folded right.  It broke my heart.  His girlfriend was so sweet in reminding me that he sounded better when we talked to him on Monday. Still...I am worried about him.

LADIES!!!  I just got all my SR's letters.  One of the things I sent him was a Boot Camp Questionnaire.  Here's what he said about them. . . pay attention:

"I was also asked for more of them [the questionnaires].  Ask any 075 moms you know to send them.  Also, send me a few more copies so I can hand them out.  A lot of people were jealous."

I'll mail some extras with my next letter.   If any of you get one back you didn't mail out, now you know where it came from.  But, be sure to send your SR one!

When SR listed his friends, I recognize some names from here/facebook!

What are these questionnaires?  I feel as if I am waaayyy out of the loop.  Been unable to check in since this morning and it is 2100 here in the NW.

DramaSoul, check out the discussion called Boot Camp Questionnaires that is on this PIR Group.  There are tons of variations out there.  I took one of them, changed a few things, and sent it to my SR.

Another facebook page?

My SR has mentioned twice now about a facebook page for this division.  I know about the forum for this division on the RTC facebook page, but that's not the page SR gave me the name for.  So, anyone know anything about it?  I can't find it when I search on facebook for it.

I really don't like to post about boot camp on facebook since I use my real name there.  LOL.I even deleted my post on Trivia Tuesday after I didn't win!  I do read the forum on the RTC page, though.

So, anyone know about another facebook page?  Is it a private (invitation only) page?  Let me know.
