Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 107 and 108

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Mine is in the same sh-div......did yours call today????
Was this your first call??

Yup! I was so ecstatic. He said he might be able to call again Sunday. Was not expecting a call at all. Goes to show that they could call at any time.

Hi Everyone, my son is in Ship 09 Div 108.  He called Saturday and I missed his call.  I was bummed.  I bought my plane tickets for graduation.  Really excited.  Wondering when we will get a letter.  I look forward to getting to know you all!

Hi SusanK. My son is also SHP 09 DIV 108. I just wanted to encourage you by sharing my story with ya. :-) My SR also called Saturday and I missed the call. I was a wreck! Seriously. I even blogged about it. But the other Navy mom's were so supportive and reminded me that he would call again. This really helped to ease my mind.

As for receiving a personal letter... it arrived today! He's doing well. I'm on top of the world! :-)

Hang in there. Let's both look forward to that next phone call! :-)

Thanks so much!  I got a letter today and I was so happy to know that he was doing well.  It was just great to hear from him.  I appreciate the support!

I got my first letter from him. Seems we have some talkers in our division! Lol...but my son said they are starting to become a group! He said the first day 11 guys didn't shave and they had to do 110 push-ups! Ouch.....but he seems in good spirits! 5 more weeks!
Welcome susank!

My boyfriend told me over the phone that he sent some letters. Still waiting to get them!!

Got plane and hotel booked. Staying at the Motel 6 in Waukegen. May or may not try to make reservations at a better hotel that it closer. Possibly Navy Lodge????

Hi all,

Welcome to the group SusanK.

I receive a letter yesterday too.  It sounds like the guys are doing well.

SusanK  where are you flying in from?  I know at least a couple of us are staying at the Courtyard.

We are planning on Sarges Meet and Greet Thursday too.

We are from Cali...I have not made my hotel reservations.  I thought about the meet and greet.  We fly in at 4:00 pm so we will probably be late.  Yikes...I just don't know.  Thanks for the welcome.  It is super great to have support.

I received my first letter today! He's doing well. Praise God! Words cannot describe how much my heart is smiling. It's amazing that I can "hear" how much he's matured while being away at RTC. Wow!!! Now, I'm even more anxious to get his phone call. Oh, how I miss my boy.
