Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 235 and 236

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My daughter on Ship 9 Div 235 ... can't wait to see that beautiful face @ graduation!

Does anyone else see the posts from this page all jumbled (in no order) ? My view had shown the latest posts on the last page and  I was already looking for a way to sort the posts newest -> oldest, then this morning they are all jumbled up in no order whatsoever. Just wondering if it's just me and my computer or if it looks like that to everyone. Hope everyone has a great day today!

The Main topic of the Discussion is the text at the top box (in this case the "welcome..." one that we put in.

Each Page will hold twelve replies total...be they original replies or replies to replies.

If a Profile Picture does not have a "L" shaped arrow to the left of it , that reply has been posted in the main comment box on the Discussion Forum where it says " Reply to This ". That is usually used to start a new "topic" within the discussion rather than commenting on and carrying on a though of someone else's.

If a Profile Picture has an "L" shaped arrow to the left of it, it is a reply to a reply like the one I just described. If you look at a reply to a reply you will see that it indents. This will continue to happen if a reply to a reply to a reply...and so on...keeps happening. More arrows and indents.

So it is like topics within a topic

I think one way to check and follow your own replies and to find them is to go to your Profile Page entitled "My Page" on the tabs up at the top. When you are there go to the section entitled "Latest Activity". You can scroll down and go through them there. You can also adjust this feature with the "edit" tab.

Another way to check all replies that you have made on any Discussion Forum is to click on your Username on a reply that you have made there. Like this:

" Reply by diannep 20 minutes ago "

Just click on your underlined username.

It should go to a list of them...sometimes I don't get it what it does though :-)

The Pages on the DF do flow "backwards" in a sense. As far as new replies and then replies to replies. HOWEVER, if someone goes back to Page 1 for example and replies to a reply...then it will stay there and push some forward. Ugh...

To go to the most recent reply when you are on the Main PIR GROUP ...instead of clicking the title, Ex: Ship 09 (USS John F Kennedy) Divisions 235 and 236 (Brother Divisions) of the Discussion click Last reply by... that will take you to the most recent reply.

I know that's a lot and may not still make sense :-) but I hope it helps. It is just one of those areas that has to be played around with.

abbyg'smom - finally, another mom of a daughter in Div 235 - nice to meet you!!! =)

I got 4 letters in the mail yesterday! I couldn't be happier, well ... unless my fiance were home in my arms!  Anyhow something my SR mentioned was that some of the guys still havent received letters... I sent a few for the guys who hadn't gotten any with my fiance's letter today, but if anyone doesnt know the address or what you can send ask.  They love getting mail its very important to them so send as often as you can!!

If someone replies to a post, it posts below the original post and not "in order" within the discussion. The posts I copied and pasted from another discussion to this one will always have a funky time and date on the original post, the only time/date that will change on those posts will be when I posted them.

If you are seeing something different please let me know, because everything else seems to be in order when I look at it.

Does anybody have a son/husband/boyfriend/friend named Drake in DIV 235... my husband said they have bonded, I want to send him a card but I dnot have a last name :-/

Yep, I know it is confusing when the posts are not in order, but that is how these are set up---like ellen said.  You can reply to any of the posts on here now, right below that post, and that is where it will show up.  The Discussion Forum is set up totally different from the PIR page.  Sorry about that.  It can get confusing!  We have no control over it!

If someone answers Miz Panama above with the last name she is looking for, please friend request/private message her to send the name.  We aren't allowed to post last names on this site.  Hope you find it, Miz Panama!

Thank you diannep

Michelle, it seems to be okay now. look and see if it still appears weird to you. There is no way to make the most recent posts show up first on the page. You always have to go to the last page. It's been like that for at least 3 years and I assume since the website began.

I hope DIV 235 calls today or tomorrow :);):)
me TOO... I had my phone on high and next to me since I woke up!! ;)
