Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 345-346.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I apologize if that I seemed boastfiul . We were just super relieved to have heard from him today. I hope that everybody gets caught up with their sailor soon. My wife and I are rooting for all of us.
Totopogo..yes let's cross our fingers today. Still no form letter for me. Slobaby ..glad you received a letter and a call.

Hi Slobaby-- Not boastful at all!  I am sincerely glad that you heard from your recruit, and it is truly encouraging, as it lets the rest of us know that we will be hearing soon!  I was starting to worry that perhaps they had a strict division commander and we were not going to hear anything at all!  LOL!  Thank you for posting that you have received word.

Adzac-Fingers are crossed!

Well I just got a call..not good, my SR has to come home he tore something in his knee. He needs to rehab back home for 3 months. He was so upset. The dr told him he was 100 percent sure he could come back with a waiver. I am just so sad for him

Hello Adzac.  I am so sorry.  I am sure it is no consolation to your son right now, but if the doctor told him he can come back in three months, then I am sure it will happen. I feel terrible.

Missed a phone call last night so awful! We were only gone for 30 minutes! I couldn't sleep at all last night. But received two letters today. My SR sounds very positive and upbeat. She has kept her sense of humor and isn't taking anything too personal. Those we received phone calls..did everyone get to call? We didn't know if she did something to earn it or if everyone got to call. Div 346

Adzac so sorry to hear about your son!

Hi we also received a call... 5 minutes long. I had to cut short so she could split the call with my husband on his cellphone   It sounds like all of the SRs were able to call yesterday.  This was my first "official" call other than when my daughter called for security clearance information.  No letters yet:(  ----Ship 9 Division 346

Hi Moms.  Still no call for me; am hopeful, though!

One month to go ladies!!  I cant wait to see my girl.  I miss her so much.

Yes, I miss my daughter too.  We still haven't received ANY letters other than the form letter and only one 5 minute call.  Hopefully letters will come soon.  I did see her pictures, she is holding the flag.(How different they look with stern look and very short hair)  I can hardly wait for more pictures to come.

Katy M..so sorry you have not gotten any letters.  That must be soo difficult.  It sounds from my SR that things are getting easier.  They aren't yelled at as much as the beginning.  Have you tried sending her a bootcamp questionaire?  You can ask her questions..there are examples on here somewhere and she can simply circle the answers...make it as easy as possible for her...and add a little humor for her.   Also add;  "The highlight of my week was _________". "The worst part of bootcamp is ___________"My SR said this division can only write on Sundays, so it doesn't leave much time. This weeks letter was a lot shorter than last weeks.

Also should mention my Mom is on the west coast and didn't receive her letter until last Friday..so maybe tomorrow?
