For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I got my call!!!! I was on the phone with him for 7 minutes and 48 seconds. He sounded so good!! He started crying. He said things are going really good for him and he loves it.
He called my husband first and spoke to him for 3 minutes.

Clinton sounds like he is doing really well. Sam sounded pretty frustrated. Said he has passed everything so far, but also said it is worse than he ever imagined.

Sounds like we have 2 great kids. Clinton has passed all his tests as well. We have 1 more phone call left..... the "I passed" call!!!

Unless they can come together and earn a call. That is what I will be hoping and praying for now. But if I have to wait for the I'm a Sailor call then that is what it will be. I agree with Sam's mom, it made me a little sadder now that its over. The letters are actually more enjoyable. Of course they last longer since you can read them over and over and over and over again. : ).

i'm so jealous! i carried my cell phone around today everywhere (even the bathroom) but no phone call. haven't gotten a reply from SIL as to whether or not he heard from her. :(

I hear you duhhuh - I did the same thing with my cell phone, as I did earlier this year with our younger son, and found out yesterday from my Navy son that is home on leave that my SR in BC called the GF instead of me (NOT happy about that or about her). She did not ask any of the questions that I need answers to in order to feel comfortable about booking my flights this week. I am trying to handle it like an adult but am really hurt. My other son (only 18 and much more of a people person) gets how wrong this is. It does not help that we do not like the GF or the relationship or the fact that GF plans to follow our son to FL for A School - but SR just found out he stays in Great Lakes for 7 weeks at least to begin A School, I told him that is what I found out, but he told me I did not know what I was talking about. This puts a hiccup in their plan to reunite. Now I am trying to cut the cord and let the kid learn the hard way. Not easy and I am very irritated and awoke with a migraine today.

I was thankful my son called me- but I was worried because of the girlfriend issues. My son is going to A school in Florida as well... maybe they know each other. It is really hard to cut the cord and them learn the hard way because they have come so far and for a girlfriend to mess everything up...Unthinkable. I am having a hard time doing it. Sorry for the migraine :(

i'd be happy if my SIL would at least answer whether or not he's heard from her. i've sent him 3 text messages and haven't gotten a response back at all. i would loved to have heard from her but if she called him that's fine he is her husband, i just want to know if she called.

he finally called me late this afternoon. said he just saw the text. i sent him 3 texts and it took him 12+ hours to see them, then said he only got 1. i like my sil but i've never had to deal with him 1 on 1, it was always with my daughter around. i told him right after she left that he had to be more communicative but guess it's not working out to well. he apologized, big deal.
i know he misses her but he's also enjoying his "alone" time.. my daughter is a little bit controlling so he's enjoying some freedom.
