yeah he has had one phone call home and erik got a root canal so i know how you feel
I just Don't understand how they can do all these medical procedures to them right now, I would think they would have to be at their strongest and healthiest right now not in pain and all doped up from the pain meds. I just wish they had waited until he was through with boot camp, James never complained once about his wisdom teeth, as a matter of fact the subject never even came up so apperantly he wasn't in any pain can someone explain why the military chooses to do this type of stuff now instead of waiting.
i have no idea...and to be honest i completely agree with you....eriks teeth never once bugged him
I did get a call last Wed. it was great to here her voice. Only received 2 letters so far. I am going to have to ask Danielle about Erik.... in my next letter, she if she knows him.

I hope your son is fine, with getting his wisdom teeth pulled and all, I have heard they get the best medical care there, my daughter started with athletes foot and it cleared up in 2 days, I think with the boots and her feet sweating she has never had that before.
yeah erik has had issues with ring worm that he got rid of right before boot camp
Wow, I stay off the computer for a few days because of long weekend and going bak to work (school) and we grow! So glad to meet other families of div 331/332. My son hasn't said how the guys are getting along but he sounded upbeat when he called so that is good. I know he can be a little immature but he got LOT'S of advice from a friend in the navy about boot camp so I am hoping that is helping. So glad we have this group, :)

Judy
We have a granddaughter in Ship10 331 and have been thinking about her much of the time. She will be a grad n go, so we don't know how much time we will get to be with her, if at all. We are from Indiana, so the trip should not be a hard one, other than getting around Chicago! I have checked past posts and it didn't sound like the Ramada is that bad of a place, tho not the very best. If anyone else hears from their sons/daughters, wonder if any know Alexis, or Lexi, as she likes to be called. She seems to like what she is doing.
Hi and welcome! Do you know if the whole div is grad and go, or just your granddaughter? Haven't heard from my son about that. Also, what is her rate? My son is IT.
I just know that she wrote her Dad, which he got yesterday, and he called her Mom and told her Alexis was a Grad and Go. Someone else told me that just a very small minority are this.
I don't know what rate she is, all I know is that she is a SeaBee, if that helps.
Thanks, I would just love to hear some news, get some info. I think my son is doing well, he just seems to only want to ask questions and have news going his way, and I don't think he gets how much we crave news from him. Hoping for a phone call again soon, or at least a newsy letter, :)
here is a good group for you to join to help learn about grad n go http://www.navyformoms.com/group/gradgoinfo
Hi,
My son will also be going to A school to be a Seabee, somewhere in California if I remember right it's Port Hueneme pronounced (why-nee-mee) but I could always be wrong anyway he doesn't really know yet what's going to happen for sure so it makes it hard to plan for the round trip tickets and how long to rent a car or the hotel room, if you moms hear any differant please let me know. By the way do any of you moms have a son named Martin he and my James have become close friends, when I write to him tonight I will ask him if he knows Lexi. In James letter yesterday he said they have lost ten percent of their division, and they are not doing as good as they should be I guess there are still alot of screw-ups and immature recruits that get the whole division in trouble.
