ilze: where they sleep is their ship or thier racks.

Most military speak rack=beds, so thinking it's the same w/ Navy?
My S.R. is in Ship 10 Div 340! We're from Ventura, California! I got a call from him yesterday. It is very exciting that his P.I.R. is only 11 days away.

Is it true that Ship 10 Division 340 is the best division there? I hadn't heard anything like that...
I didn't get a call yesterday :( Not sure what that means, maybe he will call today. My letter this week that he wrote last Sunday said that he thought he was getting sick. I guess if he got really sick, they would call me.
Glad to hear our Div is #1 though :) Go 340!
My son said he was getting sick to. He said it was from all the shots they get , but said he would be o.k! Hope your son will be to.
Where'd you learn that our boy's Div is #1?
A few of the comments here were saying that Div 340 was the number 1 division. I have no idea as to its validity. But it is a happy notion, especially since to all of us they're definitely #1. <3
Head's up ladies - just got a call @ work!!!

http://www.navyformoms.com/group/pir1008
Hi ladies, I just got a call at work also. My SR said we need to be careful what we say about our SR's. the RDC's read N4M. They are teasing some of them about not being able to iron or make there beds good at home.He said that "we think it's just mom chatter but they give us crap for it".
Yes, let's be careful. If there's more personal info we want to share we can message it instead of post in the groups.

Although, they are becoming men now, and a little teasing or hard work won't hurt them like it might've in boy scout camp - it's all part of BC!!

The RDC's are there to make United States Navy Sailors out of our SR's - and I can't wait to beam with PRIDE at my son when I see his as a Sailor for the 1st time!!

Whooo-hooo ladies!!! 10 days and COUNTING!! :-)))
Mine said he'd been sick w/ a cold - and was SIQ when they got calls this weekend, but feeling better and did not get pink eye!
My SR called too! He couldn't call the other day because he was SIQ. We didn't get to talk too long but it was so nice to hear from him. I can't believe we will be headed out to Great Lakes next week!
I got a call today too! When Nala said "next week" I thought what she is talking about, but she was right NEXT WEEK!
