I can't wait to get another call also! I carry my cell hone with me constantly day and night hoping. Yes we should definitely try to meet up. We bought our plane tickets because they are going up slowly in price. We will be flying into Chicago just before noon on Wednesday the 31st and before then we can think of a place and time to meet up! I did hear him say they were going through Hell Week in a letter I am sure they made it out of that fine--no news is good news I am thinking! Wow a lot of us have our sons going to A school in San Antonio that is great.-i live about a 5 hour drive from there!

hi everyone... my hubby is in this division... and he said alot of them will be going to San Antonio.. he mentioned he is a grad and go and leaves to San Antonio on Friday sept 2.. :( i booked my trip to the 5th wishful thinking not sure if i should wait to change flight or not.. he says the team is still trying to get it together a few still dont listen... i think its cuz they are young and still got teenage hormones going.. lol.. idk.. they need to realize they a family and get it together :) wishing you all the best... im hoping we get a call soon but if they still got people not listening or talking back i think that priviledge may or may not be given again until "im a sailor call...

hi girls sorry i havent been on... baby girl has been sick n teething not a good combo... talk to yall soon...

how many of you have facebook??/ we definitely need to win trivia tuesday so we can see our SR!

My son is too.  A grad and go and will fly out the next morning as well.  I am glad they are going to the same place, I was hoping my son would know someone going.  In his letters he said there was alot of young ones but he is an old sole in a young body.  All he wants is to succeed!  We are leaving on that Friday as well.  I am on facebook and would love for us to win the Tuesday Trivia!

Sorry about the baby girl, teething can be such a tough time for both baby and mom! LOL  Anyway, keeping you both in my prayers!  We need to hook up on facebook since it looks like our guys will be together for a while!

I am on facebook. What is trivia Tuesday?
ktzmom02 - Great I am glad there will be guys there my son knows!!  I am excited about that!.  I heard it was going to be a tough week.  Like you said, no news is good news!!  Now is this your son or husband here?  It is my son.  My only son, but I have a 15year old daughter and we both are missing him terribly!  I haven't heard from him and so wishing I could.  He said in this past letter that he was hoping to be able to call soon so my phone hasn't left my side!!
Hey everyone....when did you find out that some of them were grad and go flying out Friday morning? We haven't heard this yet, our plane tickets are bought and paid for and don't return until Sunday evening. We will have to change our flight if this is the case. We only live a 5 hour drive from San Antonio but I sure hate paying the 150 plus per plane ticket to change the flight day and time! please let me know when you found this out and it is for all of them?
I am wondering too--how do you all find all of this info out?? I am operating completely in the dark. Trying to pull as much info from this site because that's all I've been able to figure out. My son has only sent two letters since he arrived July 6. They haven't even mentioned graduation or departures, etc.

My son mentioned in his last letter that he thought he would be leaving on Friday also.  I'm not sure if they know this for sure or if this is what they are being told..  Tomorrow should be letter day for us.  I can't wait.  We made our reservations through Sunday also. We thought that we would be sure that we did not have to leave before him.  If he has to leave before us, we will just stay and look around Chicago.  We are planning to try and fly down to San Antonio while he is there. Any Master At Arms?   Keep praying for them.  We are on the downhill side now!

My son is going to Virginia and then Connecticut for training to be a culinary specialist on a sub.

I agree. Alls we can do is pray. I am really looking forward to a phone call or just a few more weeks-we'll see them!

I find out through others on here and from letters received.  My son did state in a letter that the mail is crazy.  I received a letter Monday dated the 4th and my daughters letter she received today was dated same but took a few more days.  You will know everything when you get the "I'm a sailor call".  But might received a quick call before then.  My son stated in this past letter to keep phone close should receive a call soon.  I soooooo hope so!!
I have heard two rumors---this one about them leaving grad n go on Friday to San Antonio and another rumor that they may possibly get a pass to go hom for the weekend since it is a holiday weekend then go to San Antonio from there. I am waiting hoping tomorrow I will get my Thursday letter and it will tell me. I will let yall know if I hear also-let keep each other informed! yes three weeks from tomorrow we fly up there!

Trivia Tuesday is on the RTC facebook page... Each Tuesday they ask a question and first person who answers correctly gets a pic of their SR's Division.. They use to do random pics but I guess they wont be doing them for the moment.... Trivia Tuesday is at 10am central time. Request me www.facebook.com/peruvianmami (Mami Mo)

My hubby is a MA as well I got a letter yesterday(Monday) with grad and go info... I do not know if its for everyone but considering the majority will be going to San Antonio... My hubby said most of the division will head that way...  Inbox me your SR names and I can ask my hubby how they are doing.. Last week I got 2 letters Monday and Thursday...

A girl on Facebook has a fiance in the division and now they get to write on tuesday nad thursday and keep in mind they have there liberty days on sundays within ther compartment.....

i know some of you get Wednesday letters... so if any new news let us know... keep u posted if I get a letter on Thursday....

@ktzmom02-rumors I have heard if they stay in GL they get to have liberty the whole weekend without overnight priviledges.. and if they are out of state usually leave next day after pir... also sometimes plans can change even up to the last week depending on weather, space, and even flight status that can push back our SR leaving right away bt definitely haent heard the one about going back home then going to a school..

i heard SR can come back home after A school but not before or during.... but could also depend on what phase they are in.....

talk to you gals soon. :) good night
