For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I got my first real letter today! So happy to hear she is ok. Poor thing is stuck on laundry detail not at all her favorite chore. I know she will adapt. And at least they are all wearing the same colors, not a whole lot of separating or remembering what is not supposed to go in the dryer. I am so glad I have already sent a bunch of letters, since she was practically begging for them.

Thats great you recieved a letter. I am really hoping i get a letter tomorrow i need it so badly. I am really starting to lose hope of this working. I am trying to stay strong for my boyfriend but it is really hard. I feel like someone ripped my heart out.

I can imagine how hard it must be for you. I know how hard it was on my oldest when her husband went into the Army. I hope you get that letter soon.

That's GREAT iwagot!! I'm so very happy for you! I hope and pray that I have a letter waiting for me from my SR. Guess I'll find out when I get home. :) I miss my son so very much!

Just got home and received my first "real" letter from my SR! His letter was short and sweet. (He's not really one for writing. LOL....) He said that things are not bad at GL. He also said that Division 322 had completed the swim test and that they were scheduled to complete the PT test earlier this week (on Monday).
Desiree, hang in there. I'm sure your letter will come tomorrow. (I live in NC.)

Hey ladies I got my letter yesterday and it was bitter sweet my sr was made religious petty officer by the group I know he loves that job he is really into his faith. It was funny because he was begging for me to write him he even asked for me to write him daily. What was so funny is that before he left he told me not to write daily but I didn't listen I still wrote daily. I know he is going to be so happy to get all my mail. It was nice to know that he loves and misses me as much as I miss him. But it also made me miss him more. I guess this is part of the emotional rollcoaster bc puts us through. I hope you ladies have a great day and thank you for all your support.

Me too I can't wait to hear his voice everytime thephone rings my heart skips a beat. But then I am disappointed when its not him.. god I miss my sr so much.
