Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

So very sorry to hear that your SR has been ill.  I hope that he is feeling much better and pray that you get a call very soon!!
Yes robin my sr said he was really sick too but refuses to go to siq because he doesn't want to be set back.
Yea, they kept him in siq for 3 days. He kept saying how he was ready to be fit for full duty, I really hope he isn't set back :/
Hope he is doing better.. my girl wnt to siq after they pulled her wisdom teeth...why do they take them out?  she was to the dentist before she left and said they were straight and had plenty of room...on a positive note I did send her retainers so now we are assured her teeth wont move .LOL
Meagmom, They are taken out because if they are deployed and the wisdom teeth get impacted there is nothing they can do.
Hmm, good to know. My SR had his wisdom teeth taken out too. I was like O_O.....I really wouldn't have cared that they pulled them, cept he just had some other tooth pulled a few weeks prior.

Hey ladies got a letter from my sr. It made me a little sad because he is really considering doing FMF. I dont know if i can handle that. Felling really down ladies. He also said they did the gas chamber and in his words it "suck". But as we can see he made it through because i got my letter today. He really messed up my day with this letter about FMF :(
