This is a group so we can get connected with others in our SR's group. I hope to meet new people who are going through this with me.

I use labels on my letters to my sr but I'm afraid if I send him labels to use himself, it may take up more room and less room for actual letters. They must have a very small locker. During our phone conversation he did ask for me to send him bigger envelopes so he can send some of the letters home that he has read. I mailed him a couple of the yellow 6 1/2 x 9 1/2" envelopes, as this was the only size I could fold and put in a business size envelope. Hope this helps.
Hey ladies I don't know about you but I really need to hear from my sr. These days are moving so slow.I havnt gotten anything since Thursday.
Same here!
Omg I wish they would allow them to send out mail more often that's like punishment for us lol they get mail everday but we only get it once a week.
LOL I agree but that's just part of the process, I guess. Thank goodness my SR sent me five that first time so it held me over for a little while. I did actually get two letters last week but I think he can't sleep sometimes & uses that time to write.
The letters are coming to you! I got one today, and I usually get it quick since we are close to GL.
Yes horse I don't usally get mins until thurs which next week with the holiday I am not going to get it until fri or sat uuggggghhhh I hate snail mail

I know what you mean Desiree!  My SR told me when he called last week that he had a letter for me but had not yet mailed it.  I hope and pray he was able to mail it this past Monday.  :0)

Praying you receive a letter from your SR as well!!!

OK its official i am fustrated. I am to the point i dont even want to write him i am so mad. I have heard that other people in this div have been writing there loves one daily. And some people are actually getting letters from there sr daily. I am so upset i havent got anything since Thurs and that was a letter he wrote the sunday before. Its official i am strike i dont feel like i shoudl even write him anymore. Maybe he needs to see how i feel......
Hang in there Desiree!  I know it is hard... I have only received one letter so far from my SR.  And I continue to write him daily.  I'm just trying to constantly remind myself of how busy and tired he is... I understand how you feel. Believe me!  I feel as though I am on a roller coaster of emotion myself.  But we must remain strong.  I hope and pray that you hear from your SR this week!

I am frustrated as well.  I know that it is not his fault that he is unable to write, but it sure is tough to keep sending stuff when you get nothing in return.  I have to remind myself that letters from home is what will keep him going through boot camp - knowing that we are all here and pulling for him makes a difference, I'm sure of it.  I'm not only fighting the frustration of knowing that he can only write once a week, but the frustration of knowing that his fiancee gets more in letters than I do!  It sure is tough to know that your kid cares about someone else knowing what is going on than caring that you know stuff too.

Chins up, ladies.  Keep doing what you're doing.  It DOES make a difference to our SRs.

I feel everyone's pain in this...I really do!

I will be gone from Friday the 2nd until Saturday the 10th (going to Disney) so I gotta chat fast!

I won't be able to get on here and chat, but I'll tell you all about it when I get back!

well have a good time law. And i was so fustrated until i heard the other people from his div have been writing there loves one daily and they have reiceved letters daily the last couple of days. Thats what made me so fustrated. Because now i know he can write daily but has not been doing so..... I am so fustrated i wrote him a really angry letter and once i calm down i decided to rewrite it a little nicer because the first letter was straight forward.
