Does anyone know what time of day we should be expecting their "I'm a sailor" phone call on the 5th? I'm trying to make my work schedule around it and either work until 3:30pm or at 5pm until late.
Did your sweetie tell you he was doing BS on the 4th/5th? It appears as if the 8-9 divisions are on 4/5...so unless your sweete told you different, I'd be planning on getting that phone call at a later day. ;-)  I have a bad feeling that some of us are going to miss the phone call due to travel arrangements. :-)
Yaaaaaaaaay!! It's so nice to have a verification on the date!! Thanks so much Kiara for getting that up here. Again......it's wonderful to get a verification. OH man, I can't imagine allowing myself to be too darn far from that phone. LOL

navygirl~thank you...I'll make sure the phones are on....

Ladies 7 more days!  Absolutely amazing!!!

Ladies, got a letter today......not tons to share, but he said to be next to the phone on Saturday, because he'll be talking to us all on the phone then!  He said this several times...lol  "I'll be calling you all next Saturday the second...........blah blah blah, love you all, blah blah blah, Make sure you're home on the second! "

The suspense.....ugh! LOL

On the 2nd really?!?! darn I work all day =( I was hoping they would still get their scheduled call on the 3rd because I have the day off...well at least only 7 days until we get to see them! I got letters today too! Sounds like he is getting nervous for BS, but is still doing well. He got Sharpshooter status that he was very excited about!
Apparently, mine was bullseyes all the way....and then he coughed. ROTFLOL Oops! :-)
oh me too...6 more days I can't believe it...
Neither can I. Can you believe ours will be the next group graduating?  OMG!!
Phone call today! OH my gosh how nice to hear his voice. He's sounding so great...things are going so well. What a long phone call, too. Oh it made my weekend!
Got called today too!!!  Actually several calls, he called me, got to talk a bit then had to hang up because they got bumped off the phones by another division.  Called back later after calling his brother first, talked a little again and gave him is best friends # and he called her then called back, talked again for a bit then gave the phone to his dad for his turn - all total it was probably close to an hour!  Sounded great - said they were all doing great.  I think he was happiest because he got to have Taco Bell and Pizza Hut!!!  There's one right there next to the NEX at RTC.  I'm very familiar with it because that where we got to spend time 2 1/2 years ago with my older son who was a grad and go (back when they left town on Friday).  So it's a great day and looking forward the to big call on Tuesday!!!!!!
