Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 319 & 320. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Kyle (Ship 11 Div 319) called girlfriend just now. Only talked 8 min and said he will call later.
All is well and he has passed everything except running the mile in the required time. has til wk 7 to get that done. His best friend went home today. only have his last name so don't know whose SR he is, but he wanted to go home.
They just got their dress WHITES this week. Someone said they got dress blues, but not yet.
good thing GF was home from school sick today or she would have missed that call. she got 4 letters today. My mail still has not run>>> Two hours late today!!! must be a sub deliviering today
Just got a phone call from my son - Div 320!
Just got a call from my son in 320!! He had just come from the dentist (cleaning). Says he is good. Passed all tests. Says he wishes there was more physical aspects and less detailed oriented tasks :) not good with details. Says he volunteered for night watch so he wont have to do it during liberty. Like all the other boys, loves the food. Said they were only allowed water (for their beverages) the first 2 weeks but now get powerade and other drinks. Loved hearing his voice...should have made the list of questions someone recommended. All I Kept saying was how much I missed him...ridiculous!!

Got a call today (320)!  So excited to hear his voice.  He's homesick, but otherwise upbeat.  Had to have two wisdom teeth removed on Monday, but it went well and he got 2 days sick leave.  Said he got caught up on his sleep:)  What a wonderful end to my day....his dad is going to be soooo jealous!

Received a call and a letter today. He called my cell phone but I was in a meeting so he left me a voice message. Then called my husbands cell and they got to talk for about 10 minutes. Kind of glad I wasn't available cause now I have his voice on my phone and I can hear his voice when ever I miss him. Plus I would have been crying during the entire conversation and not have asked him anything. He said bootcamp is tough but he is staying positive. He is the section leader so i guess that means he has to take more crap if the guys screw up. So tell your boys to do it right the first time!!! LOL!! He also says he is in a PUSH group too. Anybody else heard of this? Wondering what it means.

No call today.  I know he is doing good. Maybe tomorrow.  What does 2-1 and 3-1 mean.  He thinks I know Navy talk.

it is in reference to the day of training they are on, tomorrow i think should be 3-1.

Anybody's son here from Arkansas?

Good evening all, I thought the letter I got today in the mail was such a blessing, the unexpected phone call this afternoon was wonderful. I was hoping and praying maybe this weekend, never expected today. Still can't believe it, my SR sounded really good, things going well, had two of his wisdom teeth pulled last week. Getting his military ID tomorrow, issued all his dress uniforms the other day. Glad to know all his family in the Gulf Coast area of Alabama were safe. Still cannot believe his Dad and I got to talk to him today :):)

Div 319 Mom - so excited to finally get a letter yesterday.  Thankfully his wife has gotten lots of them already.  Just glad Mom got in the mix too.  Missing being able to call or txt, and really looking forward to 10/5.  Hope to meet folks in this group at Sarge's meet/greet and any staying at Navy Lodge too.  Thanks to all on here for keeping us informed and feeling like a viable part of the process.  Love learning and seeing what everyone is going thru.  Good Day and O-H-I-O - Go Bucks!!!

Received 2 letters today. He probably wrote them last week sometime as he mentions some of the same things he did in his phone call. Overall he says all the guys are getting along well. At night is the best time for them as they can all relax and talk when the RDC leave them alone. He says they had hand gun training and next is with the AR-15 rifle. He sounds pretty excited about that! Hope you all get letters too and maybe we'll get phone calls this weekend.

Received a suprize phone call last night from our son. As a section leader he was given the opportunity to earn a 5 minute phone call. Not sure exactly what he had to do.....he just said that he had to work really hard to get it. He sounded good and and said it is getting better. I hope you all get phone calls this weekend.
