Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 043 and 044.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My SR says the same thing about knowing his name too! Lol

So excited, I got my second letter, it helps so much to hear from her, she seemed in good spirits, I'm hoping I will get a phone call this week.

That's great! I am hoping for a call too! I see a few people got a call the past couple days so I'm at least hoping for the weekend. It's the hope that keeps me going and keeps the weeks moving along!

Hi Brenda, glad you got your 2nd letter.  Checking my mail everyday for my 2nd one.

does anyone know what week/day we are on for the schedule?  I'm hoping for a phone call this weekend however I am going out of town for a wedding till Sunday evening.  Hope I don't miss a call :(

My boyfriend said Monday was 2-2 (week 2, day 2)

My daughter called tonight while I was at work.  My husband got to talk with her.  He said it was short & sweet.  She won't be graduating 12/28 due to a medical problem....so I guess we'll have to wait & see when PIR for her will be.  I'm a little heart broken, but as long as she gets to complete boot camp, I'll still end up being happy for her.  I just don't want to see her come home all broken down...she has waited for more than a year to get in because she wanted a specific job & they have limited availability especially for females.

My boyfriend is in 11/044. I have 3 letters so far but no call. In his letters he says he and the division are doing well. Hopefully a call soon! Anybody else heard anything?

He also mentioned a friend from Minnesota-I won't mention the name on here but if your SR is from Minnesota, message me!

I got a few more letter today from my boyfriend. He said there are still SRs goofing off so they had an hour of ITE (intensive training exercises) which wasn't fun, but he said he was doing well. He also said an SR was sent back to processing day 1. Probably disciplinary issues. The RDCs are still in breakdown mode, but everyone is adjusting even though some are still goofing off. He said they had their first written tests on Tuesday and those actually stay on their record. We're closer to seeing them and I'm getting more and more butterflies as the days go by!

I can't wait! I'm sure I'll hear about all this ITE in the next letter! hopefully tomorrow!

I'm sure you will. He'll need to vent :)

glad to hear that so many are getting many letters and a few phone calls.  Thank you everyone for all your updates, it really helps.  I'm ok with no calls if my daughter would just write me more.  Hopefully they are on their way.  I know her boyfriend has received several.  Thank you for letting us know that Monday was 2-2 on the schedule.  Just holding my breath that my daughter passed all her tests.  I will stand by the rule "no news is good news" and continue to pray.
