Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 107 and 108.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi thankful45! i too am thankful but only for 2! :). I got a phone call last Saturday but no letter yet so I don't know anything about the division. The phone call was pretty short but very treasured!

Do you remember the name of the EOD mom? I would love to know what she has learned.

I sent you a friend request...i can't send you a private message unless we are friends...

my son said there are lots of EOD guys, most in 107, but quite a few in both.  He thinks they lost one already though, to asthma or some kind of illness.  He said they are the "toughest" guys and they are all business!  I think he was impressed!

No call today from div 107.  Not sure if the 3 week I'm still alive call comes during actual 3rd week of BC or after they have been there 3 weeks.  I did get a call Saturday so I'm good.  Just keeping the no news is good news going!  And the can do attitude-all of our SRs CAN DO IT!

when my son called tonight, he said they are on 2-5 day...

Take that back!  Just got a call from div 107!

Just got mine from 108!!! They are only on 2-5 day....I am still confused by this, but my SR is doing fine. Says the bunk mates job to take care of those SIQ... Seems that there were lots of bloody pillows from the wisdom teeth extractions.... Yuck! But they are pulling together. Says their RCPO is doing a great job(prior service). And he's with a good group of guys....minus the few chatter boxes that kept getting them all IT.

Mine said the same-day 2-5.  My SR said not real sure what day or date it is today.  Kind of like being in the casino! hahahaha Pretty sure things will pick up as soon as all the dental stuff is out of the way!  Sounded so good and confident!

So glad you got to talk with your SR thankful45.  Doesn't it just change your whole day?

that made me laugh about casinos!!

Absolutely turned a crummy day (2nd visit to local DMV) into a FANTASTIC evening!  aaahhh...now onto the weekend!  Hope you all have a wonderful one!

A phone call and letters from our SR in one day.  WooHoo!!!  Sounds great and confident.  We are so very proud.

Yay for all of us and our SRs-we all made it through another week!  Gotta say "Love You Ladies", you all have been my lifeline here.  And thankful45, I am really thankful to you!

I hope all the 108/107 moms from the FB page come on over here to chat...I feel much safer sharing on this discussion thread and PM than I do even on the closed group FB page.

How is everyone today?  our letters and calls this week are gonna have to carry us through for awhile I think.  I'm doubtful that my SR will write to me more than once each Sunday.  So I will look forward to hearing what the rest of you care to share.  It's been a good week.  I feel relieved and renewed!  Keep writing those uplifting letters...don't let those tough-guys fool you...they still want a hug from mom!
