Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 407 and 408

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hey Everyone,

I talked to one of the Moms and it sounds like our Divisions are the last to go through Battlestations.  It sounds like we won't hear anything until next week :(  If they keep to the same schedule for the PFAs, they should be finishing up with the last one by the end of this week.  If anyone hears anything, please let us know.  Getting so excited for next week!

Late to figuring out how to join the group. My daughter is ship 11 div. 408.  Will they know if they for sure graduate next Friday by the end of this week?  My daughter was also the Religion Petty Officer for her group!!

This is the hardest part for me.  My daughter and I talk everyday.  It's always been the two of us.  Trying to hang in there.  I keep stressing out thinking about the final PFA and the final run.  One more week, one more week.  I already have my gate pass printed...lol.  Hoping to get another letter soon.  I know she usually writes on Sunday and I get a letter on Thursday but with the holiday it may be Friday.  I was kind of hoping since Monday was a Government holiday they would have been able to call but I guess they must of gotten into some kind of trouble again....lol.

My daughter and I were very close too. Its just been the 2 of us, so I know how you are feeling!!! I have not gotten a call or letter in 2 weeks!!!

I sent you a friend request Nicksmom93

Hi. My daughter is on Ship 11 Div 407. New to all of this. Haven't got my "I am a Sailor" call yet....I imagine Battle Stations today. Tomorrow? Soon for sure. Headed to GL on Wednesday...any news from anyone else? Thanks. Cookie Momster

Hey there,

If you would like to know when BS is, please inbox me a message.  I found out from someone who keeps the schedules but we are not supposed to post it in open chat.

Hey everyone,

I just got a letter from my daughter.  Div. 407 passed their drill inspection on Oct. 8.  They didn't get a flag though.  The RDCs are blaming themselves for that one because they haven't drilled as much as other divisions. They should be getting their live fire scores back by today too.  Everyone has passed the second test.  If any of your SRs wear contacts, you can send them for graduation.  The RDCs will just hang on to them until then.  She is also asking for her cellphone.  She is missing her facebook...lol.  Just a head's up on the phones.  Make sure you take it back before they return to base.  They are not allowed to have them and can get into major trouble for having it.  I think I just might "forget" it at home.  Now just the third PFA and test before Battlestations.

I sent you a request as well as a question in the request

Hey there,

I sent an answer to your question.  Only one more week to go!

Waiting for that phone call from my SR, anyone with any details for division 408 that cant be mentioned on chat please message me please.

These two divisions will get their sailor calls next week sometime. Message diannep for the day, she keeps track of the dates.
