i got letters yesterday and he said nothing bad about the DIV. He thinks that the phone call on monday helped them straighten up alot. But my letters take 4 days to get to me because i live in california so things may have changed. I am not sure. But he said that he is doing better and everyone is getting used to how things work. i am praying too. He did say they were getting inspections and stuff but never if they did good or bad. so i guess no new is good news right?!
Well, thats good. I got letters monday and tuesday and they said he was going into hell week and inspections were coming up. He didn't say anymore on the DIV so I am not sure. I haven't got a call this week so I hope I get one this weekend. No news is always good because that means they are not hurt or being held back from failing an inspection.
My son said they are supposed to call today unless it's taken away from them. He also said they were starting to work together better- good news all around! What fields are your boyfriends going into? D will be in Charleston which is great for us. We live close to Savannah.
Mine is going to be an AT and be in Pensacola, Fl.
Got a 40 minute call today. He said the Divison is pulling together and they received 3 flags and passed inspections. They got a new petty officier who is really hard but, other than that they are doing pretty good. I hope everyone is getting letters and calls and can't wait to see our sailors May 7th.
MINE TOO!! wow! that is funny stephanie, same DIV and same job, same place! What is your guys last name? I wanna tell jake. He keeps asking if i know anyone that has a boyfriend in his division and i keep forgetting to tell him lol.
Davis, ya I have met a lot of moms on here that are the moms of my bfs close friends, which is cool. I am so excited about graduation and I wish it would be may already:)
Hello, did anyone ask when div 179 does battlestations? I'm thinking maybe May 1, not sure.
yes, may 1st
Hi Stephanie, did he say why the division got a new petty officer? Just curious.
yes, he did. Also, that he HATES him. He is a lot harder on them and when we were on the phone they said he had 40 minutes and he made him get off at 20.
I got the 40 minute phone call on the 17th as well. It was amazing to hear his voice. :) Yes as far as I am concerned they are doing much better. I didnt recive any letters this week so far so that is kind of a bummer but from what i have heard so far they are doing good. I hope they do good at battlestations. that is only a week from now... Time is flying by so fast!!! Cant wait to see our loved ones at PIR. Two weeks ladies!!!
