Hi mtngrl2014,

My recruit said the same thing about the IT.  He said he hoped they would be able to call soon. He seemed in really good spirits and likes to keep his humor to get through it.  He sounded great!!!  I am so proud!

Such a relief, isn't it? And you have a lot to be proud of...I think I can see your smile from here ;)

Oh my gosh! Yes, the waiting was killing me.  I have faith in him so I know he is fine but just like to hear from him.  My SR will be going to Texas for 'A' School after BC, so it will be interesting to see if his flight leaves on Friday or over the weekend since it is a holiday weekend for graduation.  I will be glad to see him in either case.  In my letters, I ask him what he wants to do on liberty..  so far it is see a movie and get some good food. :)
Now we just need to hear their voice. Hope that it will be Friday or this weekend
Let's keep our fingers cross.
I just got my first letter!!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!
I know!! 282 got there's yesterday and 283 SRs are calling today, so maybe Saturday? My cell phone is with me at ALL times, just in case ;)

I can't wait :-)

My son said he has off till Sunday night. I know he wants to go to Six Flags. Is there anything else fun to do?

Do es anyone know if it's certain hours they call?
What is the meet and greet?

The meet and greet is the night before PIR for all the sailors families to get together. It's open for everyone, not just those staying at that certain hotel. It sounds like a lot of the Navyformoms.com members go and it would be great to meet everyone!

I don't think there are certain hours they call, but I was guessing it would probably be in the evening.

I will not be there till late. Do you know where and what time?

Hi Div 285 moms

I  too received 2 letters today. He apparently wrote one last week and one last Sunday. Yeah.  He sounds well. He did say he lost weight but not how much.

He said he had not recieved our letters and was asking why we have not written him.   It is heartbreaking since we have written him every day. Hopefully he will get our letters this week.

Thanks for the heads up on the call mtngirl 2014. I will definitely have the cell on and stay close to the home phone.

It is great to hear all your recruits are doing well and that you have gotten letters.

What is IT?

Hope everyone gets their call this weekend.
