I have been a Cowboys fan as long as I can remember. Since I was born I'm sure.
I may live closer to the Houston Texas....I still think it's a dumb name. LOL
But I will always and forever be a COWBOYS FAN. My husband likes the Texans. Gag me...LOL
My 8 yr old told me the other night when they played that they lost because I would not cheer for them. I'm ok with that.
yeah, my hubs is a diehard fan. We went to the first game in the new stadium for my bday last year. He also has the cowboy star tat on his arm (i was against) lol Well keep praying for our boys! It sounds like good test scores = call phone! so lets pray they work together and ACE those test by a mile!! :) it kinda sounds like our boys have harder RDC's, or just have some bring them down. IDK! but im gunna pray they can all work together!!!
Hi Missy!

Unfortanetly my husband didn't describe his bunkmate or mention his name... but from your husband's letter he pretty much described my husband... so I'm pretty certain they are bunkmates and I can only assume that it is Chris that he's talking about in my letters...

Soooo... in my husband's letters he said that he and his bunkmate talk about their wives all the time! He said he's glad that he's in a bunk with someone that is married and can sympathise with being seperated from his spouse. He said that if they could they'd probably talk about us for hours.

That's all he said... I'll be sure to ask questions in my next letter and keep you informed!

GO TEXANS! LOL!
Sooooo... I'm so excited.... I received 3 letters yesterday! 2 for me and 1 for our daughter. He said they received more free time on Monday because of the holiday so he was able to send more letters. His letters were pretty long and all in CAPS. My husband isn't a letter writer so I was shocked at the detail and the neatness.

He didn't really mention anyone from his division other than his bunkmate but he did say, "Don't worry they should be getting their calls because they are a great division! Hoo Yah!" I know some other recruits, in their letters, said that things were hard and they said things that made it sound like the division was struggling a bit... but my husband is a really positive person, way more positive than myself... so I'm not sure if the upbeat, positivity is a stretch of the truth or not. But for the most part it seems like he thinks the experience thus far has been great.

He did mention crying when he received our letters but they were tears of joy! The only thing he was upset about was he had to get the glasses!!! My husband has never worn glasses since I've known him so I'm shocked he got the BCs... needless to say he isn't happy about it!

That's it for now... Have a great weekend everyone!
AbbyP - So happy to hear you got letters yesterday!! It's good to hear some positive news about our division so even if he is just upbeat, it helps!!! That's so cute that he wrote one to your daughter too!

You guys all have a nice weekend too!!!
YAY! thats soooo good to hear, Chris seemed pretty excepting of everything too. He didnt seem to mind it all, (he just hates the folding clothes and cleaning... WHICH I KNEW WAS COMING... its hard to get him to clean for me lol. ) I think i have his letters memorized bc ive read them so much! He said my letters made him cry, but the first week of letters were more depressing bc i was so not used to this and not ready. I forget how sweet he is too, his letters were soooo sweet. <3
Ladies let's keep our fingers crossed and pray that we get phone calls tomorrow.
Good night all Hugs
FINGERS ARE CROSSED... and toes, arms, and legs!!!
lol
i am trying to do homework and I cannot even FOCUS because I am too busy waiting for my phone call!
i hope we get our calls today, but im trying not to get my hopes up!! But it would be a AWESOME early bday gift, since its TOMORROW!! :) heres to hoping!!
I'm cleaning the garage so that I am not sitting here waiting and going crazy.
Happy early birthday Missy.
I hope we get a call
