Thanks everyone, and happy anniversary abby. We can celebrate with them come 10/15.. its a month out!! i can almost taste it. come on, come on!!! AND you know our boys are talking about us and how they too wish they were able to celebrate with us!
You're absolutely right!
Happy Anniversary Abby'How sweet of your husband to send you flowers like that. Made me cry. What an awesome thoughtful man. He is a keeper. Your so Blessed
Thanks Rebecca!

I can't stand not hearing from them! I wonder what the hold up is!?!?
I can't stand not hearing from them either! Oh I hope we get phone calls soon!!!
LADIES GRAB YOUR PHONES! My SR just called! I got to talk to my hubby for 15 minutes!

Abby
what did they say????????? :) i hope he calls soon, i cant stand this.. MY HEART IS NOW RACING!!
Yes, grab your phones, my son just called too!! Woo hoo!! I'm so glad my phone ring was turned up and right by my side!! It was only a 4 minute phone call! He sounds so great and I'm feeling so much better! I tried to ask as many questions as I could in the few minutes...he's not going to church. :-( He says he needs that time to study. He does know your son Pink Helmet; however, not by first name......I believe you said his name is Curtis. My son is not too sure about his bunkmate and I did not get the name. He says the RDC is a lot tougher than I am....Laugh..I can be pretty scary when I'm mad. He took his first test; however, does not know if he passed. I asked him if he is going to graduate and he is not sure at this point...no bad new...no good news.
I got my call at 3:00pm. It was for 15 min.
OMG it was so good to hear his voice but I did not recognize it at first.
He does not know anyone of your sons or husbands he says. Of course they only go by last names so fist names did not do any good. He says his division is mostly older men.
He did not pass his diver test he is ok with that. He can change his job. He is going to try for Air traffic controller. i think thats what he said.
He misses home so much. he says it feels like he has been there his whole life. He said he gets really sad and depressed when he realizes that he is never coming back home to live only visit. He cried which of course made me cry.
He told me about a dream he had.
he said he was dreaming about wrestling with our puppy Ella and playing and she was licking his face. He was laughing in his sleep and it woke him up. He realized he had slobbered all over his pillow and it was not Ella licking him. He said that was the most depressing day to wake up from such a good dream and then remember he was in HELL.
I hurt for him. I so just want to hold him.
He says he misses me so much and wanted to know if I was getting his letters.
He says...mom I am getting a lot of letters from you. Is that all you do? Write to me...LOL
He loves it though and wants me to keep writing all the time. He says the RDC finally let up on him when he found out that his recruiter is his good friend and former ship mate. THANK YOU JESUS. He said they were VERY mean to him.
But now its better.
Thank You God for letting me hear my baby's voice today and for letting these other women hear from their loved ones as well.
are me and victoria (drews wife) the only ones who didnt receive a phone call?
OH NO...I'm so sorry you did not get a call. I wonder why. My son said they were supposed to get an hour to talk but something happened this morning and they lost time. He did say they were supposed to get 30 min though. Did not though..Only 15. But I will not complain. I hope you will get a call soon.
My son called his gf Suzy, she said their phone call was 10 min.... but 10 is better than no minutes... she came by our house after work and filled us in and we read each other's letters from Nick... I'm just so glad one of us got to hear his voice!
