Wouldn't it be something if our 2 husbands were the ones that had to stand watch out of 80 guys in the group and the 10 or so women that have loved ones in our DIV.. At least we are going through it together!
I got my call!! It was so wonderful to hear his voice....he seems to have grown up so much already! He is doing great, and passing all his tests and inspections...It made my day!
Love and miss him so much!

I think we all can take a deep breathe now.....hang in there!!

I did hate the way he had to get off so suddenly.....but...I will take anything I can get!

Nick said getting mail everyday and getting letters from home was like waking up on Christmas morning....the letters are what keeps them going....
This is what was in my daily devotional yesterday. I just wanted to share with the moms.

Heavenly Father, today I affirm anew that the gift You gave to me - my children--I fully give back to you. I place them within Your hands and Your keeping. Continue to give me the wisdom I need to guide their steps on Your pathway and to help them know Your plan and purpose for their whole lives.
Knowing that I can bring to You the prayers of my heart--carrying with them the deepest longings and strongest desires--is a great blessing. You have heard my hearts cry for a family and you have given me, through my children, more than I could ask or dream. Thank You.
What a Blessing and joy each one is to me. They help me in so many ways to see and understand Your heart more clearly.

I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what i asked of Him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord. I Samuel 1:27-28
Realizing that our children are not ours but Gods is not easy to accept sometimes. Giving them back to God is not easy but at least you know they are in Good Hands.

I was sitting in my car reading this while waiting on my 8yr old to get out of school when my phone rang and it was Marion calling me. Just wanted to share with ya'll. Have a Blessed day.
Beautiful!!! Just beautiful!
God is Good!!!
Is Brett's wife or mom on here? That is Nick's good buddy.... Give us a shout out...
