Thank You Jesus.
I got two envelopes in the mail today with that lovely all caps from my son.
I got there at 11. Same time as the mail lady. Finally at noon she is done and I have my letters to read.
First letter says it sucks and its hard. And the RDC's are riding his a**.
Second letter Sept. 5th. The first night they got mail and he wrote this before he got all my letters. says it's not so bad. He is getting used to it.
Food is good and he has gotten in trouble three times for talking. Sounds like my baby. LOL
His third letter was that he got all my letters. He says dang mom you can write. LOL
He got to try out for diver on tuesday. I can't wait to hear how he did.
He is having issues with others in the division. He hates having to go poo with 6 others watching him and pooing on their schedule. He hates taking a shower with 35 other people. Poor baby
He says he loves me and he misses me so much. What got me the most is he is going to church. I used to have to drag and fight for him to go to church. I am so thrilled that he is going on his own. Even if it's only so he has something to do besides shine shoes.
He sounds good. I hope the rest of you get your letters today as well.
Rebecca, yes, you got letters! I think we need to pray for Ship 12, Div 344, as one of the other mothers wrote some of the recruits are struggling and now your son is saying he is having some issues with others. I'm sorry to hear the RDC is riding his ###. I'm going to start praying for the Division. Thank you for sharing! - Shari
Rebecca - SO HAPPY FOR YOU that you got your letters!! Thanks for sharing. I'm glad he sounds good. I can only imagine having to use the bathroom on their schedule...

Shari - now we just have to hope yours comes today!

I'm going to be praying for our division too... sounds like some of them are struggling...
Thank you.
I saw that yesterday when the other mother put that there.
They all need our prayers. But 344 seems to be struggling right now.

Shari. Yours will be in the mail today. I'm sure of it. Praying hard that you get them today.
Getting letters instantly lifted my spirits. Even before I opened them. For a split second I chose not to open them. I was afraid to hear bad news. Changed my mind VERY quickly. LOL
Hugs
I've got about 5 hours before the mail comes...it comes at the very end of the day. I'm so glad to hear that your spirts were lifted and I really think Marion will be fine. The only way we are going to get phone calls is if the group as a whole works as a team. GO SHIP 12, DIV 344!!! GO PIR 10/15/2010!
Well then....I have five hours to pray that they will be there.
I am so anxious for you to get to your mailbox. I pray there is at least one letter waiting for you.
Oh please let me know either here or on FB if you got it or not.

Please God let her have a letter waiting for her.
Two hours until I check mail.
Hey ladies, I would like for you to private message me your sons last names please. My husband mentioned a guy and I would love to know if he belongs to any of you. This guy I think is his bunkmate and a good friend to him. I really appreciate it!
I cant wait for a letter, but it does make me nervous to hear all the sad stories.. i sure hope he isnt struggling!!
I hope he isn't struggling for your sake. This just ruined my week until I hear from him or get another letter. He even wants me to have a backup plan and a job in mind for him just in case he doesn't make it. He also thinks I will hate him if he doesn't make it..I really hope your hubby is dealing with it well. He did say alot of the guys cry at night missing wives and gf's.
