Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 015 and 016

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi tide fan: in response were from CA and will be flying in weds 11/20.

Anyone from Chicago? Someone indicated since weather can be unreliable at that time were best to allow an extra day for any flight delays. My husband and two other kids have never been to Chicago so any input on things we can do or see is appreciated.☺
Hi there ship 12/div 015 family. I spoke with my daughter yesterday and she indicated on 10/12 they were on training week 2 day 1. Indicated they were blessed to have the toughest Chiefs around.

Have any of your SR's indicated they're averaging only 3 hrs of sleeps night?
Mine didn't say. I had yawned and said I had a long day and he said " Let me tell you about a long day, I was up at 4am made my bed, tidied up, ate chow, then pt, then something else, then IT and was still covered in sweat"

no phone call-oh well no news is good news but I WANT A PHONE CALL. Sorry just making a joke. I do want a phone call, Last week I was so excited for him. This week I have mixed emotions because other moms have received good news and some not so good. I just want to talk to him and find out from him how it is going.

Staying positive. Hoping to get a phone call today, thank goodness for cell phones or I would never leave the house. :)

Still waiting for my call... Staying Positive :)

I haven't received a call either.

I didn't get a phone call either. Im trying not to worry. I'm sure he's fine. He may have taken that time to sleep.

Is anyone planning to attend the Flanagan's dinner on the 22nd?

What is the Flanagan's dinner? I've only heard of Sarge's meet & greet. That may be something you might be interested in. Look it up on the right side of your screen on the main navyformoms site. There will be an events page and you just click on our given PIR date for Sarge's Meet & Greet, then you can choose to rsvp there or not. It is free and I've seen a ton of people that are going to be doing that. I know we will be doing that.

Thank you, I was wondering how to rsvp for the meet and greet :)

Its the dinner that takes place the day of graduation after 3 pm. I got the phone cards and I'm going to mail them in the morning. I also heard from his friend who just graduated in August that they (Navy) deducts money from their account for a phone card.

Anywho....go night!
