Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 331 and 332

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hey Sunshine 1994 and Janie....my son is ship 12/Div 331 also and I haven't heard from him since a short phone call on 1 Aug. We have gotten a few short letters the past 2 wed. I desperately would love to hear from him but i'm sure they are busy busy learning. But were on the down slope...counting down to 6 Sept!! Were from IL, only about a 5-6 hr drive for us so, can't wait to get there!! Are you all coming to PIR?

My little girl is in div 331 and also left 7-9. I write her at least twice a day and will ask if she knows her. I get her reply letters only on Thursday so it may be two Thursdays before she will respond. Sorry to hear your story. I can't imagine how you feel. I miss my baby awful bad! I cry almost every day.

Thank you! I cry multiple times a day. Doesn't seem to be getting any better. Just think... this is only weeks. Just imagine 9 months!  :(

Hey Division 331...we received mail today! A phone call would be GREAT but I'm happy w/ mail too! We got 3 letters, so great to hear from him! Hope you all get to do the Happy Dance at the mailbox this week!

Whoo----hooo!!  A letter today.  He sounds good.  DIV  332 earned an Academic flag. He thinks he will get at least one more phone call but the RDCs have been taking time away every time someone goofs off. :(    I am so excited to see him in a month.

We have been out of town w/no Internet...on our way home and hopeful that a letter has arrived from ship 12/331!!

OK----while we wait for the next phone call<G> and the end of week 4, let's make plans to meet at PIR.. We (That would be the SR's mom, dad and brother) are going to Sarge's meet n greet on Thursday night, 9/5/13.

Anyone else going there?

Yes..three of us are going..we live 30 min. Away thank god. Janie and jerry newberry

Whose son or daughter is going to A school in florida??

Finally got to speak with my son today Ship 12 Div 332. He sounded great they just finished the rest of the training he said and now has some time to rest. Waiting for PIR next Friday, cant wait to see him. Was hoping for A School in Florida however he is staying in Great Lakes, gets to come home in November for couple of weeks then off to Japan. Hopefully get to meet some of you at Sarges Meet and Greet.

@ Melissa...I just saw your post that your son was staying in GL for training and then heading to Japan in Nov. Same exact plans that my son has...wonder if they know each other. My son is in Ship 12/Div 331 and got orders to Yokuska Japan aboard the USS George Washington.
