Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 349 and 350

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Thanks TracyB!

waiting part sucks, huh! LOL

Hope you get a letter today also :-)

My son is on Ship 12 Div 349, he called his girlfriend on Saturday and I happen to be with her so got to talk to him briefly.  No letter though.  I can't believe how close we are to another Friday!  How is everyone doing?

Missing my girl and hoping to get a letter today!!!!! :-)

Counting the days.  5 weeks from tomorrow.   So nice to keep in touch with all of you for encouragement.  My SR tells me she will leave on the 14th for "A" School, so our visit will be brief, but we'll take what we can get.  We are so proud of her.

Missing my daughter immensely. School Shopping was always one of my favorite times together and I find myself on Hollister/Aero/Dillards websites looking for things she will "need" then I realize.... she doesn't need anything.

My hubby of course likes that the $800-1000 usually spent on school stuff will stay in the bank this year LOL. Told him no way... that money is going to DISNEY with me!

Thank goodness for the FB page though. Instant connection with other 9/13 PIR families is awesome.

Lorianne, i still have one at home, my son will be a freshman... No saving this year for me, lol! Nice that you now have pocket money for yourself for disney!!! Maybe your hubby will be ok if you give him 1/3 of that, hahaha

I think if we take a Disney trip this spring/early summer he will get to spend $$ by going to Sun & Fun (Airshow) the same trip. That way I get my Disney fix and he will get his Airshow fix. =)

Cant believe its been 3 weeks, it seems longer! Hope to recieve a letter today& i'm hoping to hear that thier division is getting along and wirking as a team!!! I read on facebook how some divions arent. You ladies have a great day! Grateful to be connecting with all of you and thankful for support!
I got TWO LETTERS!!

She sounds good - Maybe a bit weepy in places but overall good. Says someone went home in Div 349 for being pregnant!

Says she is eating her greens and five meds for an infection (doesn't say what type) and anemia.

Looking for 349/350 girls with the last names beginning P, H, K, and D. If your kiddo has a last name starting with one of those letters please PM me and I'll tell you if my daughter mentioned yours.

I'm giddy with excitement from hearing from her... FINALLY!
Got another letter from my daughter today it was written over a week ago but was so sad. She seems really sad and home sick. It breaks my heart. Have had such a rough week I just want to jump in the car and go get her.
If you are from Michigan and your daughters last name starts withD and first name with J are daughters are bunk mates.

We have only gotten one letter from our daughter and every other words were "I miss".  Reading it a was tough, but so is she and she'll get through it.  We've got to remember that this is a short period in an outstanding career choice.  Right?  I think the toughest part is not being able to communicate at the drop of a pin and not knowing what's going on with them from one minute to the next.

We did not get our phone call last week like many did because our SR was in medical.  We were planning on camping with a group this weekend, but where we go has lousy phone service, so we have opted to stay home in case she gets to call home this weekend.  I can't wait to hear her voice.
