Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 195 and 196

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Anyone received letters or phone calls from ship 13/div 196 other than form letter? Just wondering.  Without a computer or smartphone I don't know if my son knows how to write :D Not having access to one must be a real adjustment.

I haven't received anything yet. I sent two letters. One with a phone card

I haven't either. My son is Ship 13 Div 196.  We be out of the house this weekend.  I hope if he does call he gets time to look up my cell number. No letters either.  I think the is the end of week 2 or start of week 3.

GOT A CALL TODAY!  Danny called about 1:15 Georgia time.  It was so good to hear from him. I wish I had recorded it cause I'm sure I can't remember half of what he said. He said that either they can only mail or only write on Sundays and he just got our letters.  He said to ignore the rant in his letter about not writing him (LOL). I can't wait for the letter now.  He said he wrote 8 pages.  He didn't write that much in 4 years of high school. Hope everyone else heard from their loved ones.

Just got a call from my son. About10 minutes. He sounded great. Tired but doing well. Said he can send letters out tomorrow. Very glad I heard from him.

Got call from SR 195 hour ago.  He's bored!  They just completed week 1.  So he had plenty of hold days.  BS 21 will be right before PIR. Hopefully he'll have more things to occupy him now that training has started.

Did your SR say if the whole division was able to call home or just some.
Hello Everyone!!!! Just heard from my Navy son today,I was extremely, happy to hear his voice!!So please keep your phones near you so you won't miss your calls..

Danny is going to Pensacola also.  He left Atlanta on the 10th. So It's been 2 1/2 weeks since I've heard anything. He will be IT also.

Have you joined the Facebook page for Pensacola A&C School?  I know it's premature, but I joined it just to see what we have to look forward to. :)

I feel better now that I had my 10 minute call
