Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 201 and 202

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Does anyone else have children who are struggling with their fathers being gone? My husband's been gone almost four weeks now and our son who's four and have autism is really struggling. He's so emotional and ask for him all the time. We've created a social story trying to explain things but he still struggles with wanting his daddy.

Good morning!! We now have 5 weeks to go. Are any of you planning to attend Sarge's Meet and Greet on 6/4? Have a great Friday!!

I'll be there!

Whoo whoo!!

I will be there with my family.

Whoo whoo!!

Ship 13 div 201 - Just wanted to thank everyone for their kind words about the ruff time my son is having.  Just got an envelope with 5 letters in it today.  They ranged from sad, frustrated, funny.  He is still afraid he isn't going to graduate.  Says they keep getting hit with compartment hits.  He actually seems to like instructors tho.  Even has a favorite one which shocked me.  This is a great site.  Makes me feel like I'm not alone & neither is my son.

I mailed out this great thought to my son for their Division to read, it's pretty awesome and uplifting. The funny thing is it's dated the 13th which is their ship #. He should receive it this coming week and hoping they all get a chance to read it. I enjoy this site as well and it's such a blessing to share our thoughts. Have a blessed day!!
Does anybody have extra spots that they won't be using? They'll be 7 of us flying in. TIA
Are you talking about spots to get into PIR? Only those our SR listed in the form letter will be able to get in. My son did share on the phone though, there is a chapel at PIR that family and friends can go to and watch the graduation ceremony on a big screen.

I hope that is true. My son's girlfriend is going with us but she is #5 so I feel bad & assumed she would have to stay at the hotel until afterwards to see my son. The website says they don't have any place for people to watch but my son said they do so I'm not sure what to believe.

Good morning everyone!  Praying for our SR's daily.  I'm so thankful to hear from everyone who has received letters.  I haven't received a letter yet but I did get to talk to him last Saturday.  He did say that they get into a lot of trouble for talking.  He stated that he hears everyone starts coming together at about the fourth week so thought that things should start improving.  Wish I'd receive his letter :(
