For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

I still haven't heard via mail from my SR and I am getting anxious! I went through all of this when my boyfriend (who later became my husband) joined the Navy, but it just seems sooo much more different now almost 30 years later! Who all has heard anything by mail from a SR that left May 26?

We are staying at the Navy Lodge and will attending Sarge's meet and greet. We decided to drive (15 hours) instead of fly and will be arriving on Wednesday afternoon/evening.

I just made reservations at the Navy Lodge. I hope it works out. I still have not received a personal letter from my son yet but maybe today. I mailed him a letter with a phone card on Monday. He should have received it by now. I hope to hear from him this weekend.

It was very short but he's not much of a writer,lol. Just said he didn't have much time to write and he was having his wisdom teeth pulled next week.

I also got a letter today!!!!!! I'm so excited. Sounds like Div 246 is having a rough time of SR's not listening and talking too much so I won't expect any extra phone calls :(

Karen my son is division 245 (brother division of 246) and he said they are getting in trouble so he didn't have time to write much. I thought it was an excuse not to write, lol, but it sounds like your son said something similar.

Alex's_Mom My son has to have his wisdom teeth out this or next week also! He is in Div 245 and the letter I received was 1/10 the page-very short but he always hated writing, LOL. Hopefully they will stop getting in trouble SOON...I'd like to hear from him more, LOL...at least on the phone I may get more out of him!

He said they are only taking out the bottom 2 since his right side tooth is laying sideways and not like the normal teeth. Mine were the same way when I had mine removed.
