For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 333 and 334
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Omg I just missed 2 calls from my SR 20 min ago . I ran into my office for a couple minutes and back out to my car. No voicemail. I am so sad.........

I also got a call! I was in the middle of stretching a patient at work and I yelled at my boss with excitement and she let me run into the kitchen to talk to him! 30 min! We're getting spoiled!

Hello Moms,
I just joined this site, and have been reading all of your posts for a few days. My SR secretly enlisted right after turning 18, and went to bc on 7/9 without saying good bye to friends and family. Based on that date, her PIR should be 9/6 unless she is held back. It's a long story, but she disowned her entire family and friends after quarreling with her parents over her 21 year old boyfriend. I have not received any calls, the box, the form letter or any mail. :( I am sure she sent all to her boyfriend. She should not have joined because of her medical history, and saying I am "worried sick" is an understatement! I am petrified and my heart is breaking! While her brothers, father, cousins, etc. are hurt and angry, I have been crying so much that I have actually gotten wrinkles. I just start crying no matter where I am. I have multiple nightmares every night and get little sleep, and my doctor had to prescribe additional blood pressure medication for me. I don't know what ship or division she is in, but may have narrowed it down to Ship 14 Div 335/336, Ship 12 Div 331/332, Ship 13 Div 333/334 or Ship 3 Div 337/338. I have been writing her, but don't know the address. I would be forever grateful if you could ask your SR if they know my daughter, and how she is handling bc. Not knowing what is happening to her is killing me. Her name is AlinaMari from Redlands, CA, pronounced AlinaMarie and she usually goes by Alina. Please don't share the personal details with your SR so they don't get back to my SR. She is, obviously already angry at her family.
Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart!!!. I will keep your SRs in my prayers along with my own.

The last I heard from my son was 7:30pm 7/31. And, the last letter he wrote on 7/28. Getting very anxious to hear news.

Any members have SR's in 334? My son was a Depper for his junior year, and just graduated, turning 18 just before boot camp. I am very proud that he chose the Navy. I am very anxious for boot camp to be over. From daily conversation and being a big part of his last years activities, to very little communication, is really hard. I'm saying my prayers that all is going well.

Hello ladies, I thought I'd look for the loved ones of my husband's friends! He's in Div 334, he's the Recruit Petty Officer in charge of Education, his good friend is a gentleman from Los Angeles Ca who has "been in a few bands." They also hangout with a very smart, nice gentleman from Sacramento Ca. Sound like one of these SR's may belong to you? Please let me know! My husband and I are also from Ca, and all three of them are in their 20s, so my husband is very glad to have met people around his age with common interests. He says some are only 17 and he feels like an old man! I do know names but won't post them here of course. Cheers!
