My son left for bootcamp 6-17, got a message from his recruiter today regarding his ship/div.  Anyone else have a recruit in the same ship/div?

Glad to hear that I am not the only one that did not recieve the letter in the box. I got the box today but no letter :( I called the reruiter and he said he wont have the ship and division # until Monday, June 28th. I have been writing letters everyday and I can't wait to send them so that he will know that he is loved and supported :)
I got the box today. My 16 year old daughter was home so the opened it... She texted me at work and said, "there's no letter inside, just clothes and some papers.. and a picture of Bubba with his hair buzzed off and it's sooo cute!!" I freaked out and told her to take a picture of the picture and text it to me... Logically, I knew they wouldn't have taken a polaroid for me and put it in his box...but she said it was in there!! Then she sent a text, "nevermind...I'm sorry...it's just an old ID picture that was inside his passport..." So, I had a moment of heart palpitations... but at least I got the box... :) Still no form letter, but I had gotten his address from the recruiter yesterday, so I sent him some letters and another phone card just in case... (My son is Ship 14/Div 271 - he left from Houston, June 17)
I mailed 6 letters to my son today. ship 14 div 274. i can't wait to hear from him! I never thought that him leaving would leave such an empty feeling in me. on the flip side... VERY PROUD!
My fiance and your son are in the same division :)
Just and FYI... there is a newly started group on here for PIR 8/13. Just go to groups and search for it using "PIR 8/13" and you will find it, it would be so awesome if a bunch of us are on there so we can share info (there is already a really funny story on there about one of the divisions, hahahaha!!!) and connect so please come and join. My fiance is in ship 14 div 274. I just got his form letter today <3
Thanks... I got my letter today also Ship 14, Div 272
My husband is in Ship 14 Div. 273. I got his letter last thursday and haven't heard anything else from him.
My son is also on ship 14 division 273. Hoping to hear something from him this week.
Hello :)
My bf is also in the same ship and division as your son! Hope all is well!
