My daughter is in same ship and div.  She mentioned in her last letter 44 girls.  She did not say how many boys.

Any other loved ones is this ship and division?

I have inquired about how many with my SR but havent gotten a response yet.  When did your daughter leave?  I usually get a letter on Wed. so I will for sure be stalking the mailman:-)  Fill me in on any info your daughter passed on to you.  My daughter left on May 24th, I have received two letters and she sounds really good...
My son is in Ship 02 Div 937 and said that the div has half female so the total must be about 88.

My daughter also left on May 24th and 2 letters for us also!  So wonderful to get those letters!  She did call for info that the Navy was requesting even though we turn in all required papers on my citizenship when she signed. My husband talked to her both times.  She could not talk freely but she did briefly answer my husbands questions.

She is good and all is well but she would really like a cup of coffee and a cookie!

She said that 937 is  a performing division.  They will carry the state flags at graduation.  44 days til graduation!!

Just got an update from Casanova(boo's b/f) he got a letter, said she got 15 letters the first time she got mail.  Of course, I had the highest number, haha.   Says she looks like a chipmunk with acorns in her cheeks from having wisdom teeth pulled.  She still sounds upbeat.  Apparently she has made friends with another girl who was in sick bay with her :-)  Such a relief, now I need to go stalk my mailman!  PS she also said that this is/was a push division but the push didnt start until 6/13.  Not sure what that means, she has been there since 5/24????
thx if anyone knows how to explain this
My son is also in the same ship and div. He told me that they have 44 boys.
My stalking the mailman finally paid off today, he gave up my 3rd letter!  My daughter explained a little of what I was asking about earlier.  Her division did not officially begin until this passed Monday even though she has been in P-days since May 24.  No wonder, she didn't think it was so bad, thus far.  I had jokingly told her before she left that I was gonna address her letters instead of  SR, I was gonna address hers as princess, goddess, diva, boo, she said if you do, I will act like I dont know who they are talking to.  The letter before this one she said they had had mail call and she didnt get anything!!  She said the next day she got 15!!  I didnt address her letter like I told her I was going to but on one letter in the return address I put Goddess Navy Mom.  She said her RDC called her name, then did a double take and yelled "Goddess Navy Mom"?? she said everyone in her division started laughing!!!  She said I didnt even care, I just wanted my letter!! So I am relieved and I hope everyone receives mail from their SR soon.

PS  She also added, (her b/f graduated 5-20-11 the friday before she left on Tues) now you know how i felt waiting for those letters, and let me tell you it doesn't get any easier waiting!

Got letter from my son today. Was very happy! He is holding up OK. They had swimming test last week and Physical test this Tuesday. He did OK on swimming and I hope that he passed physical too, but we will see. He also told us that he got 7 shots. The food is good and he has very balanced meals.

I know you are relieved!!  Those letters mean as much to us as they do to the SR's.  I am sitting here wondering how I am gonna make it until next week to get the next one!  She said the food was good also, said she had not seen the same meal twice, always different, which she liked.

Cute story:  The day she left, I sat at MEPS with her all day.  She had spent the night at the hotel as required, there were 3 others shipping out with her.  Everything was fine to her, one guy when they got to MEPS she said just kept complaining, the bed was too hard, the pillow was too hard, the food was awfuland definitely was not a fine dining experience and just on and on.  Finally, one of the MEPS personnel said " Was the food on a plate or the floor?"  He responded "plate", MEPS personnel said "sounds pretty good to me, but when you get to Great Lakes you make sure you tell them how you were treated at the hotel!!!!"

We really had a good laugh about that.

That is funny!!! Now, probably, he really see the difference!
Someone said random pictures on the RTC facebook page is this division, see if you can identify your SR?
