Just got my recruits address and found out he is in Ship 6 DIV 947.  Anyone else have a loved one in this division?

I have been away from the computer for a couple of days. I was on a ministry trip to Ohio. Church services each day, a team of 6 gals all staying together (and up WAY to late) at the Church, late night dinners with the hospitality team, and a nearly 5 hour drive - made me for one tired girl.

In the middle of all of it - I got a call from my SR too. He called and talked to Dad, who stayed at home. He sounded great and shared much of the same info you all shared from your calls. I missed one of his calls and he said "hey thanks Mom for having the longest message on your voicemail, that costs me a ton of time - OH - I love you and I'll see ya in 2 weeks" My voice message is a direct message for him, just in case I should miss a call.

Looking forward to hearing from him again on Tuesday October 5th with the I am a sailor call too!
I missed a call from mine too ..... hurt my heart but he did leave a sweet voicemail (which I have saved to my phone ... by the time it is automatically deleted we should be there!) Ended with "I love you and will see you in two weeks". Cloud 9 ... did not get to speak with him, but I have played that voicemail OVER AND OVER AND OVER. lol
Thomas and Adam's mom when I asked my daughter when BS was she said she thought it was going to be the Monday before graduation....
You are right! My son said the same thing. Their BS will be on Monday, October 4th. We should get our calls from them on Tuesday afternoon. The Battlestation will be overnight, they will be done Tuesday morning. Then they have to clean everything up, etc. They usually get a pizza party in the afternoon, and to make that final call with the great news!

The 900 division usually goes on the Monday before graduation, to give them time to prepare an practice for performing at PIR.
I seem to get more nervous the closer it gets.... Not sure why but I will be holding my breath on Tuesday waiting for that exciting call. Can't wait to meet you ladies in 11 DAYS!!!!
I agree on all fronts!

The RTC facebook page got the pics from last Fridays graduation up!
More nervous, more emotional .... ready to get moving already! If we are this anxious and ready for this phase to be finished, can you imagine how they are feeling??
Hey all. My son doesn't know about the pizza party, I didn't say anything because I wanted it to be a surprise. I don't think he knows that he will be given his navy cap either. I wonder if he is missing important info. He doesn't seem as informed as some are. Is this the norm?
I'm not very pc literate but would like to post a pic that shows my son would someone please tell me how this is done?
when you open up a box, like to reply to a post. There will be a pic of a camera in the tool bar across the top of the box - on mine it's at the end. Just click that and it will let you browse your computer for the pic. You just need to know where it is on your computer ( what file and file name). Then just click ADD

Hope this helps

I am so proud to show my son. He is the one on the end with the dk blue flag
