I don't know how you stand your only child that far away from home. When my first child moved out I had to talk to her everyday. Those first three weeks my son was gone was heart wrenching and today its only tolerable. This growing up and moving away stuff stinks
I sure hope you get a great pic of your son as I did, I feel so blessed.
I have been writing everyday to my SR, they said to stop 10 days prior. How is that possible. I feel like i will have a panic attack.. lol. I love that the clock has single digits. She is my only child also. I am so proud of all of them.
I hope that today finds you doing better and having found a good solution for all of you in regards to the girlfriend.
Okay, so if 947 is slated to go to BS on Monday, does that mean they will start on Monday or finish on Monday? It's like 2000 to 0800, right?
It starts Monday evening at 8pm and goes until Tuesday morning at 8 am.
Thank you Tenn Navy Mom! Checked my mail, EMPTY mail box for 3rd day in a row.... Would have been worried that they were all on vacation but my ribbons were delivered today!!

I am so glad to hear that he is now describing it as amazing and to hear that thare are coming together. Whew! Time to relax a bit! :-)
Has anyone seen pics from todays PIR? I was hoping to get lucky and see our div. again. Is everyone ready for the big week coming up? I'm so nervous for them. They have done so well so far.
I haven't seen a great many posted yet except for FB RDC and a few on the 10/1 page. Beautiful pictures but not sure that our srs were in them. Ready, set, let's go already. They are doing well. Praying for their health ... my son is SICK right now.
Just enjoyed a great conversation with my SR .... sounds great. RECRUIT HEAVEN after Captain's Cup!!!
My son spoke of several who are with him whom he has great respect for ... we have a great group of recruits! Now I wish I would have taken more time to try to figure out who each of them may belong to on here. Thank you so much Tenn Navy Mom for sharing that. That really touches my heart!

This was my FIRST time to be able to talk to him since he left since I missed his call last week so this was so special ... a celebratory call. No tears from me ... just squeels of delight about Captain's Cup from me. Now, once my feet touch the ground again, the tears may begin ... Oh well. spoke too soon ... there they are! :-)

He is sick so I have contacted our prayer team, have him covered there for that, for our div for battle stations. He did say that the division has decided where they are going to church Sunday, and will be attending as a group in preparation for Monday night. That made my day .... they KNOW where their strength comes from!
