Just got my recruits address and found out he is in Ship 6 DIV 947.  Anyone else have a loved one in this division?

Tenn Navy Mom -- my SR called back! And I was able to confirm that one of the ones he mentioned was in fact your son. I love making these connections.
Yes indeed! I do not know what I would have done without this group, these connections these since that dreaded day.

They are on cloud 9!!! When he called back I asked "what ya doing?" and could hear the smile when he answered that he had just finished watching some of the TENN / LSU game. All is well in GL for some very happy, very proud recruits, soon to be sailors!
Oh my! I am one happy momma. My recruit called and sounded amazing. They are one happy group of recruits! He said he grabbed a red bull, a bag of skittles and headed for the phone. I laughed and laughed with him. It was so incredible. Hung up and cried. Sort of felt like someone released a pressure valve. I am ready with the candle for Monday! Then calls on Tuesday, and then to see their faces on Friday. Happy dance!
I was really surprised when we hung up the first time and I realized that I laughed and squeeled like a little girl the entire time, until I asked about his cough about 20 minutes into it. When he promised to get it checked AFTER battlestations, we went back to laughing. When he called back, all we did was laugh, talking about who up there is pulling for which college football team. I am so excited about Friday! And Saturday! Not really looking forward to Sunday (flying back home that day) but so grateful that all is on track for us to see him next week.
He was coughing. Said it hurt sometimes. But he is doing what he has told others to do so often..."Harden up!" I am so proud that he is reaching so deep. Winners have to play hurt sometimes. I hear you about Sunday. Remember when we had to leave the hospital without him?
Yes indeed! I do remember leaving him at the hospital. And the phone calls back and forth from the doctors while I was home with Thomas, listening to one less than encouraging report after another. But God was firm in saying that we were to believe His report, not theirs. lol! "Are you sure you don't have them mixed up??"

Just as we stood on His faithfulness then, we have to do the same now, for him, and all of the others who are battling as they go through these last tests.
Way to go 947. Awesome group of SR's. Got 2 phone calls. Sounds great and she said everyone is doing well. Can't wait to see them carrying flags at graduation.
Mine is ready too! Just sent reminder to those who committed to pray for them tonight to remind them that this is THE night that we were talking about.
I am with you! Blue candle lit and my husband and I are praying. Sent out reminders as well.
Can't wait for that call today. Nervous wreck. Goodluck to all. Praying for all our recruits to make that call home today.... God bless
well they finished six hours ago and still no call for me, any news yet? I have been on pins and needles all day. I will post anything that I hear as soon as possible and please ask your SR if everyone passed. Thanks
I am trying to be patient. I had meeting all morning. Raced home to make sure hubby and I would be together when the call came. Still waiting. First one that hears anything PLEASE put the rest of us out of our misery ASAP!
