silence here. I didn't have the "gonna get a call feeling". Definetly Thursday?
No phone call here either. I am really hoping that we will get a call on Thanksgiving. I NEED to hear my son's voice since I haven't heard it since October 5th.
Questionaire returned today...."Div 012 Rules". Anybody want to claim Stone or Young (friends of my sailor..."among other"). Needs his debit card ASAP (what has he been doing without it?), since he is SO tall he will be in the back row at PIR (and last for chow every time), he is glad I am w/ N4Ms but still thinks I am weird :), yes and no looking forward to job...said he would explain later, wants to be on a ship made in Bath, Maine (of course), Navy lingo consists of cusses and swears that he is learning well, first thing he wants to do after PIR is pick up girls in his dress blues. Gave me a bunch of passing test scores...I think they sound good. They have all 4 flags (academic, athletic, zone inspection, and drill). RDC is pretty cool and yells only a "tad". They are pumped for BS21 and Captain's Cup! My boy sounds great. Ladies they are doing well! See you SOON!!!!!
Yes they are friends. Somehow it does help doesn't it...maybe because we know they are not really as alone as it seemed.
LOL indeed! I can imagine their conversations...so that is why everybody cruises the Guernee Mall. We don't have malls here so I just didn't get it.
OH WOW! all 4 flags! our boys are awesome... i'm glad to know mine isn't the only one mastering the art of cussing like a sailor....i haven't received a letter in almost a week. he has started writing friends and other family and has forgotten to write his mom. so once again thanks for the info MEsailormom....
Sure has been a long time....Tday for sure??
Has anyone heard what their SR's will be doing on Thanksgiving Day? I of course have no idea.ugh... I'm really just wondering if they will get to call. Do they get the day to rest or do they still have things to do if they didn't get adopted?
No idea....I'm not sure mine even recognizes it is Thanksgiving. They will call I just know it!
I must have missed the whole division t shirt discussion. Do you ladies have any idea? Can you believe how we will feel on BS21 day? I couldn't stand the waiting today! Calls tomorrow?
before i ordered shirts i called Posedion the company that is making them and found out my son had ordered shirts for us. wrong sizes on some but the thought was there.

i am a little nervous about leaving for Thanksgiving. i hope he will call my cell first but i don't think he will. we always have the family here but we aren't for the 1st time ever....ugh....
i just talked to my son for almost 20 min... YEAH ME!!!!! he was at a lodge and wasn't real sure where. he sounded great and was so excited. their div has taken all their tests and now just waiting for BS and captain's cup.. i am on cloud 9!!!!!
