Hi everyone,  my family will be staying at the Navy Lodge (checking in 6/7) for the June 8th PIR.   Will any of you be staying there as well?   Are you going to attend the Meet and Greet?  I guess we need to RSVP if so.   Please respond back, I'd love to meet you all in person!   Take care, Laurie

Hi Laurie, we are staying at the Navy Lodge as well and will check in on the 7th, Please tell me about the Meet and Greet and who do we RSVP to?

The Sundance Saloon appears to be 5 miles (or 8 minutes) away from the Navy Lodge.

Not sure if I'll be able to log on at all this weekend but wanted to wish you all a Happy Mother's Day!  Enjoy!

Hi, my son called on Saturday, May 12th (the day before Mother's Day).  Keeping my fingers crossed worked - I was real surprised and so so happy to hear his voice.   He said the division won a flag - Yahoo.   Sounded real tired but holding on.   SarahsMom I saw you also recieved a call.   Hope everyone else did too!

Laurie she was doing great. Very excited about her job. Had meet with the advisor about her orders following bootcamp. Apparently there are 5 girls in her division going to CTI.  She also said the won a flag- Academic. Apparently they scored high on an exam.  They also had IT for not folding their sock correctly....

Hi Barbi, that's awesome !!!!  I loved hearing that story.   I am so happy they are all hanging in there okay and supporting each other.   I hope my SR is the one you mentioned from NY :-)   I believe today is Wk 5, Day 1 for them.  We're almost their girls.   Barbi, will you be staying at the Navy Lodge?  We will be there and SarahsMom is also staying there as well.  Hopefully we can meet up at some point.   Not 100% we'll be at Sarge's Meet and Greet but am trying my best to get there (10 hour drive from NY).  Rec'd a letter from my SR yesterday (multiple letters) - they all sound like they are doing great and everything is coming together.  21 Days To Go!  :-)

Laurie, I also received a letter yesterday. She is doing great. Still no complaints. She has passed all her PFA's and written exams and is trying to improve her times on the run and the number of pull ups and sit ups. She wants to pass the guys standards. "Said the workouts were not as intense as she is use to so she might have to get in trouble to get some IT- just kidding Mom".

It really helps when they are doing well..... What a relief!

Can't wait to meet you ladies in person at PIR!!

15 Days to Go!  YAHOOO  :-)

s-amburgeym that is very exciting. Graduation and Wedding all in one day!!! Where will you be staying? Are you going to Sarge's Meet and Greet?
