tusol95 ...they let her use her cell phone to do the "Im Here" from RTC 30secs max and the last thing she said was next time we talk will be in 3weeks...it didnt sound scripted at all...it was pretty much im here the RDC's where on the prowl doing the RDC thing...lol etc. Hang in there praying you get your call too!

Jaime(JazziesMom)

My call was from my son's cell phone.  He also said he would talk to me in 3 weeks  - he sounded like he was reading it from a card....

It's great to know they are all there :).....and that they are busy, busy, busy.

I have a feeling it will be a long night for all of them :)

I'm hoping that we will get another phone call from our son... it is that 15 sec.phone call that I've been thinking about and preparing for all day!

Alright so the next thing is "the BOX" and how long until we see that....about 1week or 10days?

Jaime(JazziesMom)

My son left on Feb 14th and I got the box Friday the 18th.

Just got my phone call...I'm crying...happy tears!!!

He said he got there and everything is fine, and to expect the next phone call in 3 weeks!

It was 15 sec. and awesome!

He was using his cell phone again just like from the airport.

I have a feeling that with alot of recruits arriving they let them use their cell and just listen to the phone call.

YAY im so glad we got our calls..... so proud of all of them... !!!

Me too Jaime!   Here's hoping they all do well - CHEERS!!!
my boyfriend arrived in Chicago not too long ago & just got on the bus.  Cell phone usage is apparently not allowed on the bus.  I am now waiting for the phone call....(at which point I will call his mom & let her know he's alive). we're from Texas.
Hope you hear from him very soon!

i hope so!  we have never not been within a phone call away from eachother so this is very rough.. work & school keeps me very busy though!! :)

My son also left on the 16th from Mechanicsburg, PA....we heard from him last night saying he was there.  I also had a rough day yesterday, crying at the drop of a hat.  the call we got made me feel so much better.  Once I can start writing and here from him I will be able to judge how he is doing.  I am so proud of him, but he is my baby and only 18yrs.  It feels like and empty house and he has only been gone two days.  I guess keeping busy will be the best I can do for now.
