We got the box yesterday!  (He got to GL on 10/8).  In his box besides his phone and rolled up jeans, etc. was a nice package of paperwork.  The paperwork looked like copies but it was his contract, copies of SS and Birth Cert, etc.  Like 20 pages stapled together.  I have not seen anyone mention that. (I hop he didn't accidently put it in there and now he is needing them!!!)  Anyone have that?

No form letter yet.

Hi Robin! My son got to GL on the 9th! I also got " The Box" yesterday. I found all of his paperwork in the box as well. It did look like copies of his contract and had his birth certiicate as well. I was wondering if he forgot to keep them too, but read somewhere that, there might be extra paperwork, sent home in the box. I haven't recieved a form letter yet either! I can't wait to get it!

Thank you for responding...  That is a relief!!!    Just checked mail..  no Form Letter again today....

I haven't got the letter yet either!! Waiting patiently for it to arrive!!!

Bummer... I think the mailman is messing with me.  No letter on Saturday....  I am ready to mail some letters!!

Yippee! Got the form letter. Now we need 12/05/14 to get here! To recap, our SR. arrived at GL on 10/08. We got The Box on 10/14. We got the form letter on 10/20. Guess I will move over to the 12/05 Forum and wait for a call and a letter. Mailing 6 letters tonight.

Join PIR 12/05/2014 TG 04 to connect with others with loved ones training with your recruit.  I also invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) there.

BTW, there are 13 divisions in the 12/05/2014 TG, so your recruit will only be able to list 3 guests on the Access List when the time comes 3 to 10 days before PIR even if he listed 4 guests on the form letter. You need to be prepared for that. See http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp.

Hi Robin! I'm glad you got your form letter today! My son got there the day after your son, so I hope I get my letter tomorrow!! I can't wait to find out when he will graduate and to start mailing those letters to him!!!
