My daughter Keirstan arrived on September 2nd at 8:30pm in Chicago we are from clayton, ca so it was our time at 8:30pm. By September 3rd at 3:10am our time which is 7 hours after she arrived at boot camp her fiancé was killed in a car accident.
I was now beside myself sitting on the side of the road waiting to hear if it was him. With his father and his mother the chp would not let us know anything, the sheriffs were not telling us anything but his father knew it was him. He had just left our house to go home and it is only a half mile away. We told him to call us when he got home. We never receive a call. So his father kept trying to call him he wasn't answering. The closed the said I think something happen to Jeremiah. I quickly got out of bed and we woke up our neighbor to drive us down the road cause he was just sure something had happened. We got about half way there and the chp had closed the road due to a fatal accident.
It was Jeremiah. The first thought that went through my mind was noooo it can't be. Please GOD, please don't let it be him. Tell me please he is going to be all right. Please GOD! Please GOD! It is not on our time it is on his time and for whatever reason God said it was time for him to go home. He was 21 years old. And the last words out of his mouth was he came into my bedroom flipped on the bedroom light and said good bye mom and I said good bye son he gave me a big hug and and kiss, and 15 minutes later he was gone. The Lord took him home.
