Thank you Gail and Charlotte!  I've been thinking of you all and how hard it will be not to have communication with Aaron....  so taking advantage of just talking to him when I want.... trying not to be a bother though...lol  I had a peaceful visit with my Dad over labor day.  I went and stayed with my Mom while my sister went on a little ( much needed) vacation.   Mom and I had a good time rockhounding, but boy I have to keep reminding myself that she is like a 5 yr old cognitivily - she kind of drove me a little crazy....lol   My Dad was alert but still delusional, but at least he wasn't being aggressive.  I made him his favorite meal for his birthday - He ate the most that I've seen him eat in a long time!  Then we sat outside and had icecream... he said it felt very nice.... His newest thing is stealing the napkin holders from the dining room....lol I have no idea what he plans to do with them.. they look silver and he made comments about selling them ont he black market..... he is always rambling on about some type of top secret mission stuff.... He had pretty high clearance in the Navy and State Dept.  He really couldn't talk about all he did - so its been interesting to see how his damaged mind is now working.  He comes up with some interesting stories about things going on around him. It sounds like he had a bad week after I left though :(   talked to him a minute today - sounded a  little beter.

Aaron sprained his ankle.... just in time for the NROTC orientation - mini boot camp.... sigh.   He saw the Dr today , at least its not broke.     the orientation is Friday - not sure if he will be able to run.   Other than that he is doing good! getting ready for school to start - sticker shock on books!   We had a fun visit while he was home - quick but nice!
