I found this on N4Moms:

I see alot of people trying to find the ombudsman for their son or daughter's command.  Go to www.ffsp.navy.mil, and you'll see a link in the center of the page to Contact Your Ombudsman.  You can check by region, then command and send a message.  You should hear back from the ombudsman within 24 - 48 hours.  I hope this helps!

Tina, how was your visit with Guy?    I'll be lifting prayers up for him regarding his getting on a ship.  I'll be saying a prayer for his Mama too.  Stay in touch.

the place Aaron lived in Sartoga springs burnt down!  luckily roommates had moved out already.  looks like landlord lit a fire in the fireplace that Aaron deemed unsafe to use...  yiks

Welcome NavyMomx3!

Intro to me and my family:  Between my husband and myself we have eight children.  I gave birth to six and I have two wonderful step-children.  All three of my sons were/are in the Navy.  My oldest son was a Russian linguist in the Navy.  He loved what he was doing in the Navy.  My second son, Jared, didn't have real direction in his life when he entered the Navy but the Navy gave him direction for his life.  He is now a Minnesota State Trooper and loves his job.  My youngest son, Walter, is currently in the Navy.  On my fridge I have photos of my three sons in their Navy uniform...you know, the photo they get after bookcamp.

Six of our eight children are married.  We have thirteen grandchildren.  Life is good; I love being a grandmother.

More to come later.....

Thanks for the welcome.
