Terry, I'll be praying for Aaron's back to heal and that treatment will help keep him fit for service. I've heard many people say to avoid back surgery if at all possible. Maybe since he's had surgery on that area once, treatment will help this time. I don't know if this condition applies, but there is a new treatment, a "filler" for discs. Whatever the solution, God knows his needs and I'm glad to join you in prayer.
So glad you enjoyed Aaron and his family for a week! I keep looking for a week I can go out to Maine to visit Scott and his family. I hope to fly this time.
Good to hear from you, Terry. How did the birthday party go? Enjoy your visit with your family.
I found a couple Carol's but not a Carol Aileen on Nuke Moms. I'll make a comment on there asking where you are and if you respond, I can find you that way.
Carol, I'm on Nuke Moms too and don't comment often. I could friend you on FB. Does your handle in Nuke Moms start with Carol Aileen? I'll look for you.
Thanks Lorraine, yes I am on Nuke Moms and Sta-21 Moms on FB - I don't say too much on the Nuke Moms but jump in there everyonce in a while.
Happy Mothers Day!
Nice pictures, Carol Aileen and congrats to your son. So glad you got to go to the awards ceremony - this is a special memory. Are any of you on FB groups? I'm on FB quite a bit but I check here for news also. Happy Mother's Day, Ladies!
Hi everyone! I can't believe that I haven't checked in in so long! I love the photos - Lorraine - beautiful wedding photos! I hope that Lanie is making friends. Little Charlotte is adorable!
Charlotte - sounds like everyone is doing well in your family - are you staying healthy?
Gail - I bet you are getting excited for HI! I'm glad that you and Eric's girlfriend are getting to know each other....
My Aaron is just finishing up year 2 at Oregon State..... one more year to go! I just got back from visiting him - I went over at the last minute, we got a letter from his CO inviting us to the Spring Awards ceremony.. I wasn't going to go since finances are still pretty tight - but I couldn't stand it so Bob said to go! so I did!! I'll add some photos. Aaron was awarded a scholarship for overall strong performance - he has had good year! Last quarter he got student of the quarter for the ROTC unit, Officer Candidates usually do not get this recognition, but his superior fought for him saying that he deserved it. I am really glad that I went - it was a jammed packed 2 days, met lots of his friends, his girlfriends mom, other moms, 3 soccer games, tour of the nuclear reactor, trip out to the ocean phew I need a few days to recover!
