Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

girlies, my son asked me to check the website for him.  he said he wasn't sure if he was on the right page so as i was navigating my way around i found it.  in my county if they are active duty they are exempt from paying city tax amount and the wheel tax amount when they renew which means a $75.00 savings for him.

motor vehicle plate renewal

(at the bottom) click active military renewals and then it will explain to email a LES. once reviewed  they will respond and allow you to renew with the exemptions.

woo hoo don't you all just love it when we can figure stuff out!!!

not meaning to sound like a Geico commercial but i just saved my Sailor $75.00 on his car tags!!!!!  hey Terrie i'm not sure it's just a thing for my county....maybe your's too!!! or does every county/state do a reduced amount for active military and i am just finding this out?????

My husband is a maintenance manager, and his bigest complaint is he cant find people that can trouble shoot, He was an AT too! Lol.  GO AT's
