Texas reporting for Tuesday muster....

Welcome back MNM~~

Cindy - sorry to hear that you still don't have power. Hopefull it will be restored soon. School cancellation, I'm sure the kids don't mind...LOL

Connie - son's graduating C School 9/13? That's great!!

Talked to Ryan last night and he is still on TAD. Suppose to start C School in Oct, normally 5 to 6 months class. Keeping my fingers crossed for him.

hey Terrie, yes he did fine through the storm....and little car did not drown : )  his dad is going to see him the day of graduation (9-13) and will be there until 9-16. so if he gets orders right away dad will be there while he gets all his gear together.  i booked them on the beach and found a map to a restaurant that we really like.  my instructions are that they are on vacation and to have a GREAT time.

i'd dearly love to go but Sissy still isn't "quite there" on these new meds....however she had a FANTASTIC day today.  we went to court for guardianship, necessary because of HIPAA laws and when we finished she thanked the judge so politely!!!

please send me an update on your next cooking competition!!!

our little Tink...she had her very first muster! so proud of you AND your Sailor!!! hope you all can get the mess from the storm cleaned up quickly and get those yatlins' back in school !!!

welcome home MNM!!!!!

Great news on the east coast fairing well.

Connie did you hear from your son? The BBQ comp in Shouthaven MS was canceled. I will send out a new invite, next time we compete.

LOL.... Got to love a man in uniform. I finaly have taken the pictures off my camera from our trip to Whidbey and thought I'd share a few. The Ship is from the Seafair in Seattle  We spent the day on. The next is from our fishing trip to Canada, and last is the Whidbey Island Base, oops not in that order, but I think you can figure it out.

Heres a funny story for you guys! We live in the Poconos so the big concern here is the wind and the flooding associated with Irene. My husband says to me this morning, "well we better batten down the hatches." He made it seam like such a big improtant job....well the "hatches" consisted of 1 market umbrella, and the cover that is on our awning over our patio!!! I think it took all of 20 minutes!!!!!
