Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

well finally i was able to navigate to our page!!  whew Tink!!!  what a RIDE honey!!!  i have been keeping count of the ATs the Navy is running through Oceana and are assigned to the Bush...specifically the ATIs that are CASS trained.  makes NO sense whatsoever!!!

Reading or watching the news anymore is REALLY depressing :(

Well just finished my interview with Special Agent EP regarding Ryan's TS clearance....it wasn't that bad!
She was actually very friendly and was pleasant to speak with :-)

as for the year's wait for BC-well when my Sailor was here before leaving for C school he worked at the recruiting office and was told NOT TO ENCOURAGE anyone who walked through the door!

exactly Marine_Navy-i posted on his facebook page "can you hear me now?....a little Mom humor"....he ignored me.....hehehehe  didn't hear from him today so i am still assuming he's in class.

hello my girlies!  sissy and i are hanging out under the a/c...stinkin' hot here!!!

my Sailor got the tube in his ear yesterday.  he went in for the consultation and the doctor did right there and then. he says that his hearing is already much better : )

i think he had his first class last night....so i guess he's up and running on the classroom part of C school !!!

Happy Hump Day Ladies.....

We celebrated my oldest daughter's birthday last night and skped with Ryan on singing "Happy Birthday" and blowing out the candles...gotta Love this new technology :-)

When we were camping last weekend our neighbors had a sign up that said GRITS! we thought it was their last name or something. LOL.  Yeah I know something my husband dosen't....
